City & Coast Swansea Home Sleeps 7

Nothing outstanding to be honest, it was somewhere to stay and fulfilled a need. Had the basics but only the basics. Laundry all seemed clean and fresh. Wifi worked.

Property was a bit shabby in places, looked unloved. There were only two of us but to say it is advertised for up to 7 people is a bit of a joke. The original downstairs lounge has two beds in it leaving one small dining/lounge which would seat 4 people snugly, or 4 at the dining table on the supplied (grubby) folding camping chairs, however there isn't really room for the table to be extended. Sadly lacking in crockery etc for the number it is supposed to accomodate. No cleaning equipment whatsoever so if you have a spill, or drop something that needs cleaning up you have to go and buy cleaning materials. Bags of rubbish from the previous occupiers left uncollected in the back yard. Heating controls are bizarre and have no instructions, will only come on for an hour at a time so you always come home to a cold house!

Very clean and great location

Furniture in living room is in poor condition - worn and shabby. Getting the central heating to stay on was difficult so it was cold at times. Wi Fi needed resetting so it didn’t work at all on first night. shower head won’t stay up as it is broken and in need of replacement.

The property was good and comfortable, however the kitchen appliances supplied for such a big property and the expected maximum capacity was terrible. No descent sized pots to make food for even two people, hence we had to buy a set of pots, which we did not plan for as you would expect that such a property will provide adequate cooking pots and wears for the number of guests capacity. Also, no bowls for mixing which we also had to buy. The key box is the worst. It took two people to open the lock as it needed someone to pull and another person to open. If I was the only one that arrived, I wouldn't have been able to open the key lock myself to release the key. It has to be changed as it is too tight and flimsy to open. Generally I will score the kitchen 1 and the key lock 0
