En-suite, Parking, Fully Equipped Kitchen!

Property was a short drive from city centre. Previous customer left Netflix logged in.

Parking entirely inaccessible, I don’t have an overly large vehicle and just about managed to get it into the reserved spot, providing neighbours weren’t blocking access. Floor was dirty, white socks were black within a minute, we cleaned it ourselves to avoid disruption during our stay, with our kids. Tin opener broken, knives blunt, usual poor quality kitchen items found in cheap locations. Room was cold, only a single 20+ yr old electric heater for the whole room, approached customer support who passed message on to landlord, response was unacceptable and passive aggressively threatening. The response stated that due to the fact that we had 1 more child than originally booked for the properties fire code was unable to accommodate another heater. A load of rubbish in multiple ways, but being specific they were aware of my booking including my 4 year old as well as my 10 month old as I requested a cot before at point of booking and given the all okay from landlord simply asking us to re-request it upon arrival, however we didn’t get the cot after requesting as instructed. Neighbours, or should I say flat mates (a thin interior door separates you from their living space) will be awake at 5:30am sharp, they will converse in polish (I think) stomp around and open and close doors in-between showers and circuit sprints around their apartment. One corner of the property was a storage space for all cleaning supplies, mop bucket, industrial hoover etc. I could go on. All in all a terrible stay, fortunately we only required 3 nights and if it wasn’t for the inconvenience of having limited options beyond this location we would have requested a refund and went elsewhere on the first morning.

Good facilities. Kitchen was very well equipped and served us well. On site off road parking though the access was difficult to get to at times. Beds were comfortable enough. Good shower facilities.

There was a smell of cigarettes even though there were signs for non-smoking. This was especially noticeable in the bathroom. The front door is half glass on the top half. This meant that the street light shines through the door at night. This meant that the sofa bed needed to be moved further from the entrance to avoid the light shining on to it at night.

I liked how compact it was and the area and people were very nice

The company were east to contact and always friendly, but sadly the issues were not able to be addressed

Upon arrival the property had an overwhelming smell of cannabis. The property owners were easily contactable and cleaners were sent in the evening. This made a difference for a short time, and took further cleaning and airing the next day to remove the smell. The property was not cleaned properly before arrival,with pans and the floors needing a thorough clean. There was rotting rubbish outside the door from the previous occupants, and was never cleared during the time of our stay. The equipment was tired or broken, the large knives were not usable and the kettle didn’t work. The property comes with parking however this is difficult to access, it also was occupied by other residents and the entrance blocked. The owners did offer another space however this had also been occupied meaning we had to park a distance from the car, this made loading and unloading very difficult. We did ask to be relocated which could not be accommodated, and the advice was to go through booking.com who still haven’t replied.

Location is not desirable. Parking was the bonus, however you need a very small car to manoeuvre up the narrow access alleys and actually get into the space.

The door doesn’t lock properly from the inside, the kitchen is falling apart, only have one oven tray to cook with no pizza cutter, bed is comfy.
