Romeo Family Apartments

Location - very suitable, close to Lido in Solaris Keskus that is very convenient for small children - always good food etc. Laos it is very close to the Old City.

We stayed there for 3 nites but kept renewing our stay, finally stayed there totall of eight nites. It is great value because the service was great, both thr owner operator Eleana and our service person for breakfast Eleana as well were great. Felt like home to us. I highly recommend it . We had a room with private bathroom. The only flaw was the bathroom sink was not draing well, not a big issue. Nice place, great location, nice people...

We booked a two bedroom apartment (Vene) right in the middle of Old Town. What a fantastic place with a nice view and amazing location on the top floor. From the start, communication with the property was easy (thanks Jelena) and we had no problem with logistics -- everything was so well organized. I highly recommend this property.

We had booked a 1BR Suur-Kaja apartment, but were actually put into a 2BR unit (with one bedroom locked), so the apartment may have been a little larger than what we had booked, but at no extra cost. We spent 3 nights here. Don’t be deterred when you enter this building because the inside entryway does look a bit abandoned, but it improves as you enter the building further. This may be a legacy of the fact that the building was bombed out in 1944. The lift is very tiny and very slow. We were in apartment number 44 on the 5th floor. It was very spacious and well fitted out with full kitchen facilities, washing machine (but no dryer) and separate bedroom. We found the apartment to be a bit too warm and didn’t know if we could adjust the heating (but didn't ask). The hot water takes a long time to flow through and seems to be affected by other taps being used in the building. The bed was much too firm for our liking and there were only two pillows which were far too soft and insubstantial. The building location was ideal for us, being on the edge of Old Town, but with a couple of modern shopping centres within easy walking distance for food shopping. The apartment was quiet. We thought it was very good accommodation and would highly recommend this apartment for a short stay. The online booking procedure and introduction on arrival were both very good.

Everything good relative to paid price with perfect location. Only downside is that apartment is in a building where you are depending on the behaviour of other inhabitants of the apartment block. This means sometimes it can be quite noisy as isolation is not up to 2019 standards yet. However, this is reflected in paid amount of money

We booked our stay several months in advance, and Jelena was very helpful right from the start. She arranged for transportation from airport for 12 euros. First, we stayed in unit #44, and it was large, clean, and comfortable. The location was perfect since it allowed for easy navigation around the central city and not a long walk to the hip Telliskivipoetanav neighborhood. The only drawback was late night noise from revelers leaving the bars down the street. Fortunately, shutting the windows drown them out. Good spots around the area for breakfast and coffee (Revel was solid) and cocktails at Sazerac (Thanks, Rauno) and Sigmund Freud were great choices. Elevator is small yet reliable. In truth, we would stay here again and return to visit Tallinn if given the chance.

We stayed in a studio apartment in Kaarli pst 8 – a 4th floor apartment with good views towards Toompea Hill, the castle and cathedral. There is a lift. The apartment is spacious, clean and met our needs. One minor negative was the limited amount of cutlery, plates, dishes etc. The dishwasher was not working at the time of our visit. The apartment was very comfortable and a good location for visits to the old town and Toompea (both about 10 – 15 minutes walk). It was also well located for public transport to places of interest outside the city centre – we enjoyed visits to Kadriorg Park and the Estonian Open-Air Museum. The apartment is at the rear of a block and does not suffer from significant noise intrusion. There is no outdoor space. We would recommend the apartment to friends and family.

We (a group of 3 friends) stayed in the Niguliste appartment, and were very very satisfied to say the least. Communication about where and when to pick up the keys was very clear and friendly, after doing so we where guided to the appartment and had a thorough explanation about it. Very comfy and spacey, with all the amenities you need (and more). The only downside is the lack of an elevator, so if you have issues doing stairs this might not be your thing. Other than that I'd recommend it to everyone.

Perfect location, clean apartment (private apartment, not A HOTEL by any means), ’like visiting a well behaving friend’...so no complaints, lots of floor and a very spacious kitchen (if you’d need one). Breakfast around the block and into the the same building again and a few floors up with a code, but no worries. All is well, but again NO HOTEL!!!! A ’little’ disturbance from the streets, but that was expected (unfortunate though). Well, could propably live in one, but maybe next time a proper hotel room for me as traveling solo??? But again the only thing that was not so clear was the info from the Inter-mail-face-sosial-thing, that was confusing, and especially the pictures. However, the customer service (before, during, and after) was impeccable, so a big credit for that!! Ps. Pictures of the location are not correct, or atleast a little misleading!
