Dream Stay - Five Bedroom Penthouse in Old Town

Great location in the city center and a nice spacious place. The kitchen and dining areas are great spots to play some cards and enjoy some beers with friends!

Depending on which apartment I guess, but the 4 staircases were quite exhausting to climb up.

Place is old and falling apart. If you plan on staying her take the deposit into account for the whole price or take pictures of everything as soon as you get there. There were many broken things upon our arrival and upon checking out we were informed by management that we would be paying for them. We were unfortunate victims of this scam so please report all damages as soon as you can so it will be harder for Dream Stay to take advantage of you.

Location, location, location. But at a cost. We knew the stairs were long, and we knew in summer it can be hot and stuffy, but a few small modifications would make it much more comfortable.

Lack Quality, low level of maintenance. As a landlord if my property managers let my houses out like this I would be very upset. There are many door falling of the hinges, some hinges broken. Holes in walls, much of the flooring is coming up and nails exposed. Many loose tiles, can be very dangerous to cut feet, especially for younger children. Bathrooms leaking, or bathroom had water falling from the ceiling during the night dripping into the bathtub, and dripping on our towels leaving a brown yellow stain. The bathroom upstairs, the shower blocks up and will not drain, so you are standing in dirty show water. Also only two half roles of toilet paper left for 5 nights. Lots of skirting boards are falling off, and not built right. Also a number of exposed electrical wires, not sure why. Did not want to touch.

Communication before arrival was great. Very fast and on point. The place itself is beautiful, although fairly old. It's also perfectly located. The 4 flights of stairs can be rough but it's an old building, thus understandable.

We had requested a few things. The place has 5 bedrooms and it was summer so we needed a few fans since the windows are nowhere to be secured and if opened constantly bang against the wall. Since 10 people stayed for us we also needed 5 keys - after all we do different things and the bell doesn't work. The problems started when we arrived. I requested the bare minimum to be brought, at least a fan, a few more keys. The kitchen was also pretty bare and needed a few purchases from us to function properly. We had also booked cleaning but it seemed like our hosts stopped being able to speak English as soon as we arrived. For 4 weeks straight I needed to confirm and reconfirm when the cleaning times were and they still didn't get it. The lockbox is a little hard to open, so we had to improvise, put a mat outside our door and put the key under it. There was literally no other way to get in for everybody. At some point our hosts started to ignore my messages. Honestly I would not book this place again simply because the people who operate it seem to just not understand how to run it without pissing you off.
