A Sra Tânia foi muito amável e adorámos a simpatia e recordações que nos deixou. A casa estava impecável, e quando chegámos num dia frio os ACs estavam ligados para ambientar a casa e nos receber da melhor forma.

Séjour agréable, intéressant sur le plan historique. Les hôtes étaient très attentionnés, très bon accueil, appartement impeccable, calme, confortable, une très belle vue sur les collines entourant Belmonte. Nous recommandons sans hésiter.

A large spacious apartment with wooden floors that was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Good communications with the host. We could let ourselves in upon arrival having received the key via a lock box. We were initially confused about which apartment was ours, but this was easily resolved by messaging the hosts. The beds were comfortable, a large lounge area, a kitchen with everything we needed, a washing machine and a little balcony where our clothes could dry quickly. Not to mention the fantastic views over the valley below. The excellent wine & locally made biscuits left for us by the hosts was a lovely gesture, thank you. We didn't get to use the small pool at the bottom of the property as it was cool. The property exceeded our expectations & we would stay again. Ours was a short stay walking the Camino Nascente, one could use this as a base for the area, but would need to check what parking is available nearby being on the edge of the historic centre.

Although this was not a problem for us & the property is accurately marketed, other guests might find the hilly location & flights of steps to the apartment difficult.

Het schone, ruime appartement is op de tweede verdieping. Aan de achterkant heb je een mooi uitzicht op de omgeving. Parkeren mag bij het appartement, maar dat hebben we nier gedaan vanwege de erg steile straat voor het appartement. Gratis parkeren kan een eindje verderop. Er zijn 3 slaapkamers. Het tweepersoonsbed in onze kamer was prima, maar een beetje kort (tenen tegen opstaande rand, en we zijn allebei niet zo lang). Badkamer is vrij nieuw. Toiletpapier mag niet doorgespoeld worden. Naast de wc hangt een kleine handdouche. Er is een mooie tuin met hangmat, ligstoelen en een zwembad. Belmonte is een mooi dorp; gebouwen, musea, het kasteel, en kunst. De menukaart op een teras heeft aangenamere prijzen dan in de toeristische Algarve. We waren aan het begin van de week (hoogseizoen) in Belmonte en hebben bijna geen andere toeristen gezien.

Fijn dat er wasmachine is. Een droogrekje hebben we niet gevonden.
