Lovely 2 Bed Condo in Downtown Toronto

Location was great.

The place is super modern and clean. Makes you feel home away from home

My problem was not with the property itself, but more with the building facilities. Although there was three elevators, it was very very rare that you could use an elevator without waiting at least 5-10 minutes. When I was leaving I had to wait for 20 minutes in total because 3 elevators were completely full. Unbearable

This apartment was beautiful, spacious, clean and in a great location close to shops, restaurants and the harbor, It was fully equipped with everything you could need. The owner was exceptional and responded immediately to any questions we had. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The location is good, around a 15 minute walk to the CN Tower and aquarium etc.

The first thing to understand is that this is not a 2 bedroom apartment. It has been cleverly advertised as a 2 bed apartment (not 2 bedroom) which may mislead some (including me) into thinking it has 2 bedrooms. It actually has one bedroom and a pull out sofa bed in the living room. This sofa bed is really uncomfortable, bending in the middle like a banana and with a thin mattress over bumpy springs. It barely passes as a bed at all. Moreover, once out it blocks access to the entire living and kitchen space, making moving around the tiny apartment very difficult. When we went to make up the sofa bed it still had dirty bedding on it, which we changed with a fresh set from the cupboard. This moved us onto the cleanliness of the apartment. It had probably been cleaned but perhaps in a rush. There were still towels in the washer and the bathroom was passable but not great. The apartment is again marketed as “lovely” but in reality it is a tired but ok one bedroom apartment in a handy location. I have attached some pictures of the stains in the bathroom, floor tiles coming up and damage to walls to give you an idea of the reality. I guess in summary, this apartment is being marketed as a lovely 2 bed, when it is actually an ok one bed, probably in an effort to generate a higher rent. I did feel that it is way overpriced for what it is. Finally, take some earplugs, as it’s on the railway line and very noisy!

Perfect spot for a couples getaway for the weekend

No parking included :( We had to go around looking for 24 hour parking and it took us almost 2 hours to find one. So more expense and from the parking, carrying personal bags it was a bit of a hassle
