Waterfront Senja

Die Lage am See war sehr schön und wenn man zur Fähre nach Andenes möchte bzw. von dort anreist, ist es nur ein kurzer Weg. Die Zimmer waren sauber.

Die Wohnung ist deutlich kleiner als es die Bilder vermuten lassen. Außerdem war die Ausstattung etwas altbacken (Waschmaschine, Geschirrspüler, Couch, Matratzen). Was uns aber so sehr gestört hat, dass wir zwei Tage früher als geplant abreisen mussten, war die fehlende Privatsphäre. Dies gipfelte darin, dass Personen einfach in die Wohnung reingegangen sind, obwohl wir dort frühstückten. Des Weiteren finden Versammlungen von Fischern auf der Terrasse direkt vor den Fenstern statt und es wird in die Wohnung geguckt. Hinzukommt die extreme Lautstärke durch das Gerede und Getrampel in der Wohnung drüber, die einem Schlaf und Ruhe rauben. Wir sind wirklich nicht pingelig, aber für uns war es nicht auszuhalten und leider eine große Enttäuschung.

The shared deck space is immediately outside the window and you very quickly feel like you have no personal space with all the other units sitting right outside your kitchen window at the picnic tables.

The location is good as the bus stop is very close by. Also the jacuzzi part was very good.

Nothing that we did not like, but just a suggestion about the garbage disposal. It was a little difficult for us as we were running late to catch the bus and also do this additional task. If the property owner can be little flexible about this rule, it would be good.

Our stay at this apartment in Senja was truly wonderful. We absolutely loved the view and the peaceful neighbourhood—it was calm, quiet, and the perfect place to unwind. On our second night, we were lucky enough to spot an amazing aurora right outside the house, an unforgettable experience that made the trip even more special. Another highlight was the short hike that starts just a walking distance from the house. The trail was easy to access, and the view from the top was simply fantastic. Overall, a serene and memorable stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Senja!
