obwohl die Wohnung in einer 30-ger Zone liegt ist der Starssenlärm laut und in den Zimmern gut zu hören. Die liegenschaft ist nicht besonders gut isoliert, daher nicht für Entspannung / bzw. Ausschlafen geeignet. Ansonsten stimmt die Preis-Leitung durchaus.

This review is an honest assessment of our stay here. With all due respect to the owner of course, although we never did meet them personally. Perhaps our expectations were too high? I am not sure. The location of the unit is perfect. It is right in the center of town and within walking distance of just about everything. We liked the location and that is about it. Parking is a nightmare. We parked 1/4 mile away. I called the owner who was very difficult to understand and he told me where to park, however, Triberg is unbelievably touristy and the parking was full. There is a two burner electric stove in the 1st bedroom. A bucket with a trash liner under the sink. We did not use the kitchen facilities. We did however, eat at he restaurant directly below the unit and the food was delicious.

Upon entry to the unit, there were mounds of cigarette butts just outside of the door. The rooms are small, hot and set up very strange. There is a microwave in the living room, a sink and small dorm fridge in the bedroom and a garage door in the second bedroom. I cannot say for sure, but the blankets on the queen bed smelled like someone had just slept in them. I found long hairs in the sheets and the pillows smelled so funky that we kicked them on the floor. This unit is directly above a doner restaurant. So the smell of lamb and grease is so powerful, you keep the windows closed. The second bedroom was so hot, but the only room that got wifi, that my kids suffered the sweltering heat just to use their phones. The location is so perfect in the center, that you hear every conversation outside and the zooming of cars up and down the hill make for a rough sleep. Every time the restaurant door slams, it shakes the whole unit. The shower drain was clogged and upon further inspection, it was jammed full of long black hair. YUCK! There were other people's shoes still left in the living room. Perhaps our expectations were too high? I feel like people actually live here and just relocated for the days that the unit was in use. We bailed after the first day and got a hotel elsewhere. I should've asked for a refund but my husband said that if we can sleep in the woods, in a tent, then this place wasn't too bad.

The location was great. It is located on the main street of the town, so everything we wanted to visit - the waterfalls, Triberg Land, Triberg Fantasy, Schwarzwald Museum (bang opposite the apartment), Bergsee were short walks away, as well as several restaurants, supermarket and shops. The apartment is right above a small Turkish eatery. Our group consisted of 3 adults and 2 children, and the size of the apartment was perfect for us. It was equipped with all the furniture and kitchen gadgets we needed for our short stay. Communication with Mr. Masood was very clear and smooth right from the time of booking and during our stay. Finding the apartment and collecting the key were super easy, thanks to the instructions from the host. The day of checkout, we accidentally left a bag at at the apartment, and Mr. Masood was kind enough to bring it to the station, so he really went above and beyond as a host. We thank him for a wonderful experience and wish him all the best.

We have no complaints about the apartment itself, but because it is on the main street, there is bit of traffic noise till late night. Something to keep in mind for travelers depending on public transport - The apartment is 1.5km from the station including steep streets. One bus (no. 550) runs between the station and the apartment, but the bus is very infrequent (once every 1 or 1.5 hrs). We didn't see any taxi at the station or in town; not sure if one can be booked (regular taxi apps like Free Now and Uber didn't work).

Sehr verkehrsgünstig gelegen, darunter war gleich ein Pizzalieferant. Gegenüber konnte man Andenken einkaufen, Sackgasse nach hinten. Parken war ganz in der Nähe auf Edeka Gelände 24/7 möglich. Netter Kontakt zum Vermieter, die uns bei Abreise darauf hingewiesen haben, dass wir was vergessen haben.

Komischer Schnitt, 4. Bett war ein Sofa im Wohnzimmer, sehr hellhörig, war ursprünglich bestimmt kein Wohnraum sondern Gewerbefläche.
