Penthouse Ancla 561 Levante Beach

The apartment was bright and modern, and in a great location.It was very well equipped, and the welcoming water and bottle of wine was a nice touch.The sun terrace a real bonus as we were travelling with a group of friends and it gave us plenty of space to enjoy food and drinks outdoors

Please be aware that the en suite bathroom is open plan into the main bedroom, meaning that you couldn't use the toilet or shower when your room mate was in the the bedroom section. I did find this arrangement a little strange, although the bathroom area itself was very nice. A door would make a big difference.

The location - its on the beach and surrounded by bars and restaurants.

Apartment wasnt very clean. Thick dust on skirtings and in corners. Air con was hit and miss, no instructions and so we were freezing at night and it wouldnt come on during the day when you wanted it. The 2 sun beds were broken so couldnt use them. We stayed here last year and one was broken then so either its not been replaced in 12 months or its broken again. Pillows on the beds were like bricks.

Appartment were clean . Facilities were excellent and it was central to old and new town with lovely views of the sea

It needs painting lots of marks etc TLC but the process of getting the keys is ridiculous you have to go collect the keys from a office that’s about a mile away and also take them back when leaving so a real faff specially when you have no idea where any of the place are and add more stress to the journey , I hire 3 villas a year and they normally send you a code for a key box at the property so easy why the hell they can’t do something similar at his one I have no idea , so be warned it’s not set up for customer ease , I would say I would hire the apartment again but with the key set up not a chance and it’s a shame because the location is great and it’s a nice apartment.

The property was very clean, modern and well equipped.

The lift broke twice during a 4 day stay. During torrential rain the kitchen flooded but we were unable to locate the source. The sofa bed was uncomfortable and there was no additional bedding.

Fabulous apartment with everything you need. Very clean. Beds really comfortable. Great location. Management office was so helpful.

Not enough clothes hangers (lucky I brought some). Air con not really powerful enough for 30,° weather. No instructions on how to boost.
