Forest View Cabins

The Forest View Cabins are located in the Magoebaskloof mountain area close to the city of Tzaneen. They are beautiful, cozy, quiet, neat and clean accommodations to spend some relaxing days. In fact, this place is so calm and peaceful that every day spent here feels like a Sunday. If you need some undisturbed time to write your first book, this would be the perfect place to stay. The surroundings offer a variety of interesting places to visit and exciting things to do. Only thing I would recommend is to bring some warm clothes, water-proof shoes and some good books with you because days can be rainy and nights can be very cold. However, the Forest View Cabins have a nice fireplace to keep you warm on a frosty day or night. I can only recommend this place to people who look for a comfortable accommodation in solitude and want to spend a peaceful time close to nature.

We had some minor issues with the bathroom. The water in the bathroom (both shower and washbasin) was either very hot or very cold so it was a bit difficult for us to enjoy a warm shower. The jet of water in the washbasin was so strong and the washbasin itself was built so unfavourably that we nearly always got wet clothes when we just wanted to wash our hands.

The view was spectacular. Excellent service.

The place is very quite and calm. I enjoyed the every moment and would recommend it to the one who likes forest breeze

The gas geyser is complicated to operate

Everything about Forest View Cabins is breathtaking and all is properly in order. From communication to the actual stay, the courtesy of being checked on if I'm okay or slept well after my first night and if I need anything, what a remarkable hosting. I'm definitely returning soon. ☺️ The cabins are literally home, the view is priceless.

Not related to the venue... I didn't like the curves and how crazy the road to Tzaneen have so many bends but I lived 🙃

We were contacted by the host via WhatsApp, enquiring about our time of arrival. We received instructions thereafter via WhatsApp to enter the property. We did not meet the host, but all our answers were answered via WhatsApp. Would have been nice to meet the host personally. Dyson and Emma were friendly and helpful.

Not on the part of the venue or host, but the weather was cold. Had to request extra blankets, which were supplied. The taps are leaking (kitchen and bathroom). The toaster is not working properly.

The view was just breath taking. The property was super clean and the units are well maintained. We will definitely consider visiting to again

The beds where not to my liking. And the wifi was very slow. So working in this location was not possible

My partner and I wanted a peaceful weekend getaway and this place provided us with exactly that and exceeded our expectations. The place is neat, cozy,beautiful and the service was top notch.

I can't fault the place.
