Great accommodation, super clean, very large apartment, well furnished, very helpful staff, free parking nearby, Wifi

The location of this property was great - very quiet and central to shops and lots of places to eat. The apartment on the second floor was very spacious and light. We had two apartments booked and this was definitely the best one. The beds were very comfortable and lots of space for clothes etc. It was definitely worth the price. Hosts provided excellent service from start to finish.

Top floor apartment felt cramped and the loft space was not a good idea for our son who is over 6ft so we could not use this. The price of the apartment was too high compared to the apartment that was below us. Kitchen was not as well equipped as it could have been. There was a smell of smoke rising up from another flat even though it says it was a non smoking building which lingered in our rooms . Car parking is hit and miss so be prepared to park away from property if need be.

Very comfortable place and very spacious, really more space than the two of us could ever need. The brightness of the apartment was a big plus because even in bad weather conditions (it rained the whole week of our stay) we could get all the light we needed. The location was also very great for our needs, close to the centre, some shops and the local hospital. The host is very friendly and appreciates it if you are a correct guest. Always helpful but honestly there wasn't much needed to help with. All in all it was a comfortable experience, and very quiet.

No shades in the bathroom velux which was quite uncomfortable because I had the feeling everyone would see me in the bathroom. The pans in the kitchen were very sticky but that's mainly the fault of other guests who came before us who clearly had no idea how to clean a pan. Otherwise no problems at all.

Lovely, modern, layout with classically stylish details (exposed beams.) Furthermore the property was a little larger than I was expecting. Moments away is free parking, we were able to park anywhere from 5 meters from the front door to 50 at the most. Less than 5 minutes in one direction is the city centre of viersen and in the other direction is the most beautiful and expansive graveyard I have seen in a very long time. 5 minutes down the road is an excellent children's park as well. Upon arrival we noticed that the fridge came pre-stocked with the essentials for a small fee. While we had already brought food and drinks for our stay we appreciated the attention to detail. The furnishings were comfortable and with ample seating and there were a multitude of kitchen utensils including a senseo coffee machine which we made use of. The owner made an appearance on the final day of our stay as he was returning from the USA and was polite and friendly asking if everything was to our liking and going as far as to offer to take any glass bottles we had left over from our stay to the bottle bank in the morning. If you are looking for a comfortable, quirky, residence with charm and convenience for a very reasonable price, I highly recommend ferienwohnungen and will be staying again the next time we come to viersen.

The recycling bins in Germany require a more significant sorting than in the UK and it took me a little time on our last day to sort it out but that is not specific to this property and appears to be common place in Germany.

Apartment is nice perfectly clean and on a quiet place. Everything was perfect and fully equipped

In summer months climatisation is missing
