Little Americas SoHo Apartments

The apartment was spacious and plenty of room to move around. Bedrooms were large and decor was nice. Mostly clean. Three toilets and good kitchen facilities. Showers were good.

Check in was like an escape room where it was a puzzle to get the codes. Once the hosts finally send you where you are going you have many doors to get through with codes. (we were in little Boston but there are other apartments, we didnt know until 3pm where we were.) This code was emailed to us but I wasnt expecting that to happen so it caused quite a lot of stress before we even got in. They are not very responsive in replying to emails nor whatsapp. I was not aware we were on the 6th floor and THE LIFT WAS NOT WORKING. The stairs are cold, damp and smell. Coupled with my heart defect it was not very healthy for me to be going in and out. The hosts did not seem to care about this. Nothing was said about the lift not working. Beds were ok but need more pillows as they were paper thin. I had to roll my clothes up and use as a pillow. Windows were not good at all, one did not close properly and the wind was banging it all night letting the cold in. It was freezing.. The sofa was clearly broken and the arm moved away from the seat if you lean on it. My son mistakenly left his necklace in the shower so I contacted the host whilst at the airport and they did respond to let me know they had found it. They said they would help me get it back. Once I was home they stated I needed to send a parcel company to fetch it. I tried to then communicate with them to get the size of package, the weight etc so I could get someone to get it and they stopped responding. I said I was extremely upset and they never replied. Facebook to the rescue, I follow a group called EDT on Facebook and put out a plea to anyone going this way. Some kind person from this group was prepared to collect it for me. When they got to the place to pick it up the hosts said it wasnt there and they had to come back later to collect. If I had have sent a parcel company they would do that would they leaving me with the thought that actually, the reason they stopped responding is so they could keep it.

Good property, good location, lots of appliances hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, iron, hoover, washing machine etc…. Smart TV. Two good size bedrooms fully furnished. Pull out sofa bed, dining table and chairs. Staff were great to communicate. I really enjoyed my stay and will most likely return to this property.

Could have been a little cleaner but for the cost wasn’t to bad.
