Casa Antonia

Quiet location was great and the host Antonia was very responsive and helpful. It was well appointed with a washing machine and kitchen had many extras .

Access to hangers in closets were designed for someone 7 ft tall . Hooks for wet clothes and towel’s or an inside drying rack would be nice . It rained the whole time so the outside cloths line wasn’t an option .

If you want to experience Capri like a local, this is the right place to live. It was really a wonderful experience. The Capri ofcourse is beautiful, but the house too is well equipped and really nice. The house and furniture seems new and also clean. House is equipped with stove, utensils, AC, bed, sofa, TV and all other small necessities. It is located 5-10mins walk from nearby 2 Anacapri bus stops. Above all, Antonia is a super host. She is very kind, generous and helpful. She explained all the details at the time of checkin and also answered all queries about the house and locality.

There is nothing I could find which was lacking. Ofcourse mosquitos in Italy are common thing and house already has equipments to repel them.

The landlord collected us to guide us to place. She was very Nice and recomended restaurants to us and also told us where the supermarket is. The home is beautiful and has everything is needed. There is fully eqipped kitchen with oven. Bathroom with shampoo, towels and washing machine. There is beautiful Terrace where we liked to eat breakfast and inside there is climatisation. The localisation was very near center of Anacapri and personally we like this city more than Capri. We were allowed to check out after chout hours for free.

The property is 1 thing, then there’s the hospitality. The property is amazing! it’s comfy, A/C works exceptionally well all throughout. The kitchen is very modern & very, very nice. Bathroom as well. But then there’s Antonia & her crew. She helped us w/ bags at arrival though she didn’t have to. Anytime we needed to reach her for questions she was readily available. Then at departure her husband actually towed all our luggages (8 of them) to Marina port in his personal truck. We had an issue finding bus to Marina late night + it became difficult to locate a taxi so they contacted a friend last minute to give us the 20+ minute ride to port. As if all this wasn’t enough, when I tried to pay them they wouldn’t accept our money. I almost had to fight to give them the money but to no avail. I made last ditch effort to toss it into car as they were leaving & they turned back around to return it to me & would not accept under any circumstances. Look up genuine in the dictionary & a picture of them will be there. So like I said… accommodations are ridiculous + their hospitality is beyond ridiculous. If or when I return to the island of Capri, this is where I’ll be staying. We’re a family of 4 & 5 would’ve fit comfortably in this spacious property. A big congrats to Antonia & her crew for the excellent job well done!
