Corrine and John were so lovely and welcoming to us. The apartment is stylish, spotless and comfortable. The view from the lounge of lawn leading to the sea and the warf beyond is entrancing. We would leave the bifold doors to the terrace and lawn open and wander in and out in the sunshine. 2 chickens and Bella, the dog, joined us on occasion on the lawn. Such happy memories. The kitchen had everything you think of - including freshly baked bread, homemade jam from the plum trees in the garden, butter, milk etc. Corrine even gave me a pot of jam on our departure. We had booked for 3 nights, but on arrival knew we would prefer to forsake our last night in Aukland for a fourth in this beautiful.place: which Corrine moved things around to make possible. We swam in the sea, hiked in pristine bush, watched sunsets up a nearby hill, swam in the mountain pool beneath the Karamatura Falls on our last full day in New Zealand. A massive highlight of our trip. Corrine and John felt like friends more than hosts. Such generous, warm people. The road to the house is bendy, and a good distance from a supermarket - 20 minutes I think. This, for us, added to the enjoyment of our stay. We arrived with most of the provisions we needed - and only made one trip to the shops. The area is stunning. Never a dull moment with so many nature walks and swimming options, yet peaceful and relaxing. We stayed here at the end of our fabulous holiday touring around New Zealand. It was the nicest place in which we stayed, and everywhere we stayed was lovely! Just the best end to our trip. I would recommend Cornwallis Palms without hesitation. Thank you John and Corrine.

We loved our stay at your amazing home. Our hosts were soo welcoming, and a warm loaf of bread awaited us. Bella the dog , chickens and birds were amusing. Also the view of the bay from the garden.

The hosts were lovely and obviously put a lot of effort into making it special for the guests e.g. lovely smelling pillows, fresh home baked bread on arrival, well appointed and thought out set up, beautiful choccies for the guests and a genuine happy welcoming chat once we had settled in. Well done guys.

Excellent location. Amazing and very hospitable hosts including the family dog and hens that laid delicious eggs. 20 mins from Titirangi by car but on the doorstep of so many excellent hiking options.

Location was amazing . We loved the swing and the chickens. Very modern comfortable accommodation.
