The host were very accommodating kind and helpful plus the View from the room was breath taking I love the ocean so it was a perfect place to unwind and relax I've been in NZ for a year and Aqua on the beach is the first place I've actually felt so comfortable and at peace.

"We had a wonderful time."

The location was great - the beach was right across the road. Downstairs unit had a full kitchen (I believe the upstairs unit did not have the same facilities) The shower was great, and the bed was comfortable. It's a Lockwood building, so you get the noises that come with a Lockwood. Fan was appreciated on the first night - the weather was really warm!

When people walk around upstairs, it's very noisy downstairs. So much so that it wakes you up. Other than that, everything was fantastic. The downstairs was spacious and clean with everything I needed. Instructions for the key and gate were excellent. Location was perfect. Outdoor seating was a bonus - we could sit outside with friends. Private property with no traffic noise.

The location was excellent. The host was lovely Beautiful home Awesome view of Auckland city lights & buildings. Awesome view of sky tower. Night views are even more beautiful.

"Shattered expectations"

Getting in and out of the property is a REAL challenge. Impossible to read the key code. The stairs are downright dangerous...handrail wouldn't pass any safety code. No water or basin in the "kitchen" making it (the kitchen) useless. VERY disappointing, saved only by the location, which is brilliant!!

Views were great. Quietness at the property was excellent. Close to cafes .

Didn't appreciate collecting water from the toilet and bathroom basin for making tea /coffees. Very inconvenient and unhygienic imo. Owner should clarify this point to potential customers. Kettle was not clean inside. Dusty bedroom . water wasn't draining out after every shower as the the drainage was clogged up. Hubby had to work it out.
