"Exactly what we wanted - lovely weekend stay"

Lovely and clean and plenty of facilities, very remote which is what we wanted but beautiful countryside which is easily accessible by car. Dog friendly and no fireworks to be heard which was our plan. 20 min drive to Hawes with nice pubs serving good food.

"Pleasant"

It was really rural, so fantastic for 2 scared pooches as we'd booked to get away from the fireworks, the facilities were excellent and the owners really helpful and friendly.

A 5pm check in and an 8.30am check out is out of touch with all other properties we've stayed at. (We did request an earlier check in and later check out which was agreed) but particularly in winter, driving a farm track in the dark, that was tough, but losing what would be half a day due to these timings took the shine off what was otherwise a fantastic and highly recommended place to stay.

Everything, the location, the property, the fixtures and fittings. Lovely family who went out of their way to make our stay perfect.

Problems with the TV signal but poor weather was affecting the signal and the hosts tried very hard to resolve the issue.

"Stunning cottage and surroundings"

Superb cottage, comfy, clean and beautiful Yorkshire Dale's surroundings. Right on the Dales Way trail which joined up with the Pennine Way. Lots of wildlife and different walks. The cottage had plenty of information for the surrounding area. Great WiFi signal in the middle of nowhere!
