Location was great a short stroll across the river to everything you need, spacious rooms, lovely communal garden. Bryce prior to our stay was super helpful answering queries and really responsive and Richard on arrival was great showing us to our apartments.

Close to the town. Two parking spaces for each apartment. Different sizes apartments available so able to stay with other family groups.

The property itself was amazing. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen area was clean, tidy and modern. Fantastic location

Far too hot. Temperatures within the upstairs apartment were consistently extremely hot. Temperatures were registering at 28 degrees inside at 2am in the morning. Small velux windows in kitchen area and lounge had no blinds and the sun heated the attic apartment to unbearable temperatures. Two fans provided just pushed hot air around. We raised this concern with the manager who agreed it was extremely hot and provided (on our last night) an air conditioning unit. However due to the hose being hung out of an open window (which then you couldn’t shut) it didn’t do a thing. The owners mum came round to support and even said herself how hot it was. She put cardboard around the open window but again no difference. 28 degrees at 2am. The elderly couple in the opposite apartment even considered sleeping in the hall stairs as it was cooler. We spoke to the manager and asked to change rooms but nothing was available. After contacting the owner, he said it was due to extreme weather. However, reading previous reviews in early April, the unbearable temperatures were an issue back then. The owner was very unhelpful and wouldn’t accept responsibility and felt it was fine for people to relax inside 30 degrees heat. He said he has now brought air conditioning units but if it’s the same as the one we had, it will make no difference. My friend was unwell with her asthma. We both couldn’t sleep for two nights of a four night stay and wouldn’t return to this apartments. It should have been easily rectified but the owner wasn’t interested.

Great place to stay in Bakewell. The property is in an ideal location, just a short walk into the town. The apartment itself has everything you need and is beautifully furnished. Communication was easy and Richard welcomed us and showed us around. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Excellent location, super central but quiet and private. comfy bed and sofa and the duvet was perfect - not overly plump like other places where you get far too hot. Spacious and great kitchen setup.

We were on the upper floor and it was very warm - no blinds on the 4 velux in the kitchen/diner meant the three fans provided (which we were very grateful for!) were on 24/7. Can’t imagine the heat in summer without an AC unit in there
