Luxury Apartments Donostia & Iruña

Great location, strategically positioned in the center, close to all attractions, cafes, kafanas, shopping, main street, republic square etc. New furniture and bath, nicely designed. Overall great value for the money. Easy communication with the owners and host Gordana, she welcomed us with sweets, snacks, coffee and organized taxi to the airport for us. Small private balcony is there for a coffee or a drink and to enjoy sunset in the quiet inner yard. Safe double door to lock the appartment.

Button for water heating in the bath has to be clearly marked or made so that it can't be switched off. We accidentally switched it off and didn't have warm water in the shower on the last day. As former Belgradian, other things which I don't like are independent of the accomodation. It hurts me to see that almost 30 years after the end of wars in former Yugoslavia, money is still exchanged on the streets in ugly exchange offices (banks take high fees if you pickup cash from ATMs), current city government doesn't care about facades, streets, air pollution, implementing rules etc. and you see lots of poverty on every corner. Anyhow, many good people are still there and food is still good. Also sad to see many russian refugees but we had great breakfast in a newly opened russian cafe/bakery around the corner.

The apartment was absolutely perfect and incredibly comfortable; it had everything we needed! It was spacious, stylish, modern, and boasted high ceilings. Equipped with floor heating, a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, a spacious shower, and cool lighting throughout, it truly had it all. Situated centrally, it was just a short walk away from numerous excellent restaurants and bars in Stari Grad. Staying in this apartment made us feel like locals, and the communication with the host was flawless. They were extremely friendly and helpful, allowing us to check out late and even arranging a taxi for our airport transfer. This was our first visit to Belgrade, and without a doubt, we will book this apartment again on our future trips.

The apartment is very spacious and luminous. It could not be cleaner and gives an artistic feel. We stayed as Iruna (the smaller one) but it is more than enough space for a couple. It's located in the very heart of town. If you are travelling by car, it's easy to get in and get out (crossing Sava takes no more than 5 minutes).

They don't have an ATM, so make sure to carry some cash with you. There is a parking garage very close(1500RSD/day), but since it is in the heart of town, you might have to wait a few minutes to find a spot

If you're planning a visit to Belgrade, I highly recommend this place to stay. Throughout our interactions, they were not only kind and informative but also remarkably helpful and always in good spirits. It’s rare to come across such a blend of professionalism and warmth. As for the apartment itself, it has been designed with guest comfort in mind. Every detail seems to have been carefully considered to ensure a pleasant and relaxing experience. I am confident that future guests will be just as impressed with the level of comfort provided by Donostia & Iruña as we were. A special thanks to Nicola and Gordana, who made our stay even more memorable. Their hospitality and attention to detail did not go unnoticed.
