Apartment in the Center of Tangier

Great location and big size apartment

Everything was good maybe one or two things could do with modernisation

Arrival: The guy who gave me the keys (not the owner) could only speak Arabic. I tried to contact him via WhatsApp, but he didn't text back, and when I called him, he did not say anything. The taxi driver made a call from my phone, and they communicated in Arabic to understand where to meet. Cleanliness: The floors were clean, but the rest was not really. The toilet was still dirty; a lof of surfaces, especially in the kitchen, were dirty. We had to clean the apartment to live there. We removed the mold in the shower, cleaned the toilets, cleaned partially the kitchen, and fixed the WiFi (which was not evidently working for the guests before us). Communication: The owner never replied to my messages on Booking. He ignored all of them, even when I told him that the apartment was dirty.

– Location is great and it still seemed easy to find a parking spot

– Didn‘t make friends with the cockroach and the silverfish that lived in the left bathroom – Not very clean overall, even the sheets seemed questionable – WiFi only worked sporadically (tip: switching the router on/off can help) – There is a section of the cupboard that is filled with empty water bottles, what would those be for? – Security cameras even on the inside (lobby & terrace)

This apartment was well worth the money, it was huge. Well kept , clean and very comfortable. The owner was awesome when I phoned him having problems with the door he was there right away fixing it. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends and family!
