LUANA APARTMENT

The house was bigger than we expected, light and airy with a terrace off the bedroom, tastefully renovated, and well equipped for cooking. It's just a few minutes' walk from the centre of town, in a short, quiet residential street, so it was very peaceful.

We were sorry to have no communication with the host, but I'm sure if we'd had any problems they would have been available. It would have been very useful to have instructions for household appliances -- it took us a while to work out how to operate the unintuitive induction hob (which worked really well once we'd figured it out by trial and error). Note: there's a spiral staircase between bedroom and bathroom, which could be an issue for some people -- we were very careful!

I appreciated the location and the terrace, as well as the quiet and peaceful street where the apartment is situated. Parking is available in front of the house, although the space can be a bit tight at times. The kitchen was very well equipped and the sink featured a built-in water filter, making the tap water safe and convenient to drink.

The washing machine, which is located outside the house on the terrace next to the bedroom on the second floor, was dirty and had an unpleasant odor. We also experienced an ant problem: ants were entering through the window near the kitchen and quickly infesting the entire kitchen area. We even discovered the boiler full of dead ants. Although we managed to control the situation by keeping all our food in the fridge, it was a pretty unpleasant experience.

No breakfast was provided. It's a self catering apartment. There are local shops to buy food and good bars/restaurants nearby, as well as some takeaway options.

Location, just off the main boulevard, but with a great view of the ocean. Nice little complex with nice swimming pool.
