St. Marko studio

The room was clean and the location was near the center. Parking was available nearby.

The room is not good for 4 as advertised. Its is a small studio Ok for 3. The electric system is very strange and unsafe. The electric socket behind the bed sparked and burst loudly when I plugged in my charger and burnt my charger. The kitchen electric points don't work when the air-conditioning is on for some reason. If you want to use the stove or electric kettle you need to turn off the air-conditioning.

Centrally located spacious studio, just across the State TV Corp (RTS/PTC) main entrance and vicinity to other landmarks such as National Assembly, Post, and of course St. Mark's Church and Tashmaidan park (incl. sport centre with indoor-outdoor pools & gym). Separate entrance to the main multistore building (far left end, the studio had "Lucky Lady" advertisement above doors) with a secure metal-grid and the double glazed doors; Also, there are double-glazed windows, making it an excellent sound isolation. Enough natural light, well aired too. Air-condition straightforward & working OK. There was fully equipped cooking area (incl. sink & induction plate) and pans, plates, glasses etc. Fridge OK & not noisy; Shower bath OK, WC small but functional. Nice king size bed and a n auxiliary couch too. Small table + chairs...TV (multi channel). The host professional, available (apparently lives close by) and will hand you the keys personally, All in all cost-benefit ration excellent (10/10), you'll hardly find better than that in this very centre of Belgrade for basic but decent arrangement.

Some very minor points: the WC is smaller, but as mentioned functional and well kept (the shower area is OK however). No cooker but a large cooking plate was quite sufficient. The side approach to the studio might benefit from some kind of fence (if you are with small children and staying longer). Cash payment only, local currency RSD and/or EUR, but this is still common in this part of the world.
