the staff was friendly but the communication was difficult.

the walls were turning black/molding in the living room. on top of that you could hear everything because the walls were so thin.

The owner was kind and helpful.

Good apartment on the third floor in apartment block. Perfect location to enter old city part of town. Nice host explaining the ins and outs.

Clean and well located. Well appointed including kitchen and laundry facilities (but no dryer). Host was very approachable.

No lift to 3rd. floor. Not really suited to fat people with heavy luggage.

the location is superb: right next to the port and the bus stop from the airport, in the old center of town. The place itself is allright: two spacious bedrooms, a bathroom and a small kitchen. I could advice Stefano, the owner, to invest in some new towels, bedlinnen and someone cleaning the house on a regular basis, and then he could easily add 50% to the rent. But for those who don't mind old (but clean) towels and a little dust in the corners, this is a great place for 35,- a night, which is a bargain.

this typical Sicilian appartment is built for hot weather: cool and shady. However, without any heating the place was a bit less comfortable in wintertime.

Only internet it's missing. But we realised that all the area and small islands they have problems with internet connection.

Very spacious place with comfortable bed. Very good location, a lot of restaurants around.
