Location was good, good hot water in shower

Apartment is too small, no place to open two luggage bags. It’s more a basement under a house than an apartment and the house above was doing renovations, could hear all the banging and drilling even late in evenings through the ceiling. There is a clothes drying rack but no place in the apartment to open the rack. Stairs to go to basement, not good for heavy big luggage bags

This apartment is a must-stay place for your trip to Tromso. Firstly, it’s location is perfect as everything is accessible by foot. 5-10 minutes walking distance is required to reach the very center of the town and the main street. On the parallel street under the apartment you can find the Joker super market and thus you will have everything you need for your stay. The apartment is easy to find as the hosts give you perfect guidance. It is spacious with a fully equipped kitchen. Upon entering the apartment you have a mixed feeling of cleanliness and warmth. I remember how warm it was when we entered for the first time returning from a fjords tour out at -10. The hosts provided almost everything. The bathroom is modern and you can find everything you need: towels, shampoos, hair dryer and more. The bedroom is perfect with reindeer themed sheets as reminder that hosts will do their best to make you feel as staying permanently in the North. Lastly, you will need a taxi twice. Once upon landing and again when you are leaving. You can use the bus to reach the other side of Tromso’s region ( to the funicular side). The apartment is ideal for couples

I asked the hosts if we could borrow brodders, and they met this request and also supplied hiking sticks. We only used the brodders and they were extremely helpful for walking in the snowy ice conditions. Location's good, very close to the bridge to Tromsdalen if you're looking to check-out that area and Froya. Clean, tidy. Looks new. It seems former guests left some food items in the kitchen. I liked that those weren't removed and we could use some rice and chocolates there. There were two beers in the fridge, no idea if a guest or host left them. You have the tools you need to cook. Basic condiments there too. Cloths. Lots of cleaning products. Washing machine things. Comfy pillows, nice heavy bed sheets. Nice powerful shower. It's a cosy apartment. And there's a notebook to write about your stay and leave a message for others. You can find ours with the title "31st - 2nd January 2025" where I write about our engagement. I forgot to write underneath that I'm from Belfast and her from Guatemala City, so if someone reads this, feel free to include that for me xD

There should probably be a note to plug in the washing machine AND turn the water valve on so that you can start a wash. Took me a minute to realize. It'd be nice if they included some items such as butter, sugar, and wet wipes. The shower would turn pretty cold within less than 10 minutes. So I had to finish up quick. Would be nice if we had an Amazon prime or Netflix account for the TV. We were ready at 12:00, but I was just cleaning the apartment more in anticipation for a host to visit us at the check-out time while staying in the warmth for 10 mins more. I left the door an inch open so it looked inviting to come in. But they text me at 12:10 reminding check-out time and that "they see we are still here" and that someone was waiting. A little creepy but sure.

Perfect cozy size for a couple. Host was quick to respond to questions. Feels new, very clean.

Everything was perfect!

Firstly, it has this welcoming effect and Ragnhild and Bjorn were fast to reply my concerns. The place was clean and the beds were comfy. I would book this place again when I am in Tromso and will let friends abd relatives know about this wonderful accommodation if they are visiting Tromso.

Very cosy and a great location. All walkable distances. Communication was spot on and we had no problems.

The property is incredible it’s like a home away from home, when you walk through the door you just feel straight at home with the hosts doing everything to make us feel welcome. In the house you have full access to appliances like a kettle, coffee maker and full oven so if you fancied a stay in night you can have one as the TV available also has full access to Netflix, Disney + & Prime(of course you need to sign in yourself but this is fine!) We stayed here for its easy access to the city centre so although some are closer(only by a couple of minutes) I would highly suggest spending a little more to enjoy this amazing home as you’re stones throw away from everything and have so much space and privacy. The property is warm and cozy and we couldn’t speak any higher of the facilities and the hosts as everything was incredible and really made our stay in tromsø a special one.

Not that I didn’t like it but just so people are aware due to the area the internet can be a little temperamental and goes in and out so although you can stream TV & scroll internet I would suggest the internet isn’t strong enough for personal downloads or working on laptops.

Everything was close by (supermarket, busstation, towncenter). We had everyting we need there and the apartment was clean. Having a keycode was great.

The showercabin was a littlebit small.
