The description of the location is very misleading. It is impossible to walk into town unless you would like to walk 1 hour on the side of the road with no sidewalks. The address listed also is not fully correct and our driver had to call the owners to ask for the exact address to which he was met with rudeness. Walking in, the upstairs looked great. It was clean and nice. Walking downstairs to the room in the basement, the humidity is intense. When I looked at the walls leading to the bathroom, they seemed a little dirty- which I thought wasn’t great but wasn’t a big deal. Someone in our group then pointed out that it was actually black mold. (??????) I received a text a few hours later asking how everything went to which I responded with concerns of location and cleanliness. The owners read the message and did not respond. This place would’ve been a great stay if descriptions were more clear and it didn’t have mold. We ended up leaving after an hour and booking a hotel in town.

The driveway and parking. I had a van and it was very difficult getting in and out of the designated parking space. I was lucky the space next to me was not used because I need the space to exit my parking space because of the narrow road.
ESUnsafe staircase to the basement. Unclean overall environment. Old stained coach. Unprofessional, arrogant, and rude apartment management. Stench in the bathroom coming from bidet. No shampoo in the bathroom. Far from city and any store to buy groceries. Cleaning materials left in a bucket on the deck. We were forced to pay 18 Euros fee while we had no cash with us. Why didn’t the booking charge this fee during the booking? We had to exchange $50 hastily to receive 24 Euros after commission. Great and unfair inconvenience.

Pour ce que l'on voit sur les photos, l'appartement est conforme. Ce que l'on ne voit pas : les murs fins comme du papier à cigarette, l'absence complète d'isolation phonique, une chambre en sous sol avec de gros problèmes d'humidité et donc une odeur de cave. Une literie à revoir. Des ampoules à lumière blanche très peu chaleureuse. Une responsable, Paola, qu'il fallait prévenir une heure et demi avant notre arrivée et qui devait nous accueillir, que nous n'avons pas vue, seulement les femmes de ménage (très gentilles et serviables) Au final, nous n'avons passé qu'une nuit sur les 2 prévues initialement.

Les voisins direct du logement ( la lake suite) sont bruyants et sans gênes, ils placent leurs poubelles malodorantes en zone de mitoyenneté, ils passent l'aspirateur sur la terrasse pendant les heures de repas). Ne convient pas à des personnes à mobilité réduite ou des jeunes enfants.( Escalier non sécurisé intérieur et extérieur) Voiture indispensable (location isolée loin du centre de Varenna) Trop peu de vaisselle
