Lift was not working which wasn’t ideal

The apartment had a very fancy modern design in an old warehouse. Staying in the apartment was an experience itself design-wise. It was clearly also nice with a lot of space, two bedrooms, high to the roof in the living room. Everything brand new. Nice big television, easy to get Netflix to work, good internet

The neighborhood did not feel very safe and it was a bit deserted from the city Centre. Going from the gate to the apartment was a bit unpleasant with trash bags on the hall-way, and quite dirty. The elevator did not work, and it was a very steep concrete stairway going all the way up to the apartment on the top-floor with the luggage. We could not open/close the roof windows in the bedrooms (the windows were way too high up to reach). A bit annoying because the one bedroom with default open window had some traffic noise, rain during the night and light in the morning , whereas the other room was quite hot, and we could not open the window. The beds were also quite small for two adults. The television in the one bedroom did not have a remote control, and could not be turned on. There was a bit noise from the neighboring apartment. There was no power plugs in the kitchen, so we had to use the water heater and bred heater in the living room. No soap for the dishwasher. There was "only" one bathroom since the other was just a toilet (this is not clear from the homepage) The homepage says that there is a 24-hour front desk (we actually expected to use this to store luggage and have easy arrival as we did several other places rented through Booking,com this summer). But this is not true. There is no front-desk, or staff at all, just a gate at a deserted street with a lot of key boxes with insufficient instructions to find the right one (the first box left of the gate, but there was an entrance door/gate and the main gate, and each has several boxes on top of each other, and then after trying several of those, one opened with the code, but there was no key, and we had to call to get help, then it turned out that it was in the box further down that had the same code and a key). Joe was very helpful though and send the cleaning staff who was still there to give us the key, and also to store the luggage upon arrival
