The host sent detailed instructions on how to get the key although getting into the building wasn't as easy as the names weren't visible on the buttons.

The oven did not work in the apartment. I spoke on the phone with the host before leaving for Brussels and explained that I was travelling for work and I was staying an entire week. I had to cancel a different booking because a host told me that the bath was broken and offered a full refund. This was the opportunity for the new host to then tell me that the oven was not working in this apartment but he didn't (there is also a picture of the full kitchen on the advertisement). When I found this out after I had already arrived he didn't offer any help he just said 'people come here on holiday and eat out and don't use the oven'. I told him that he knew I was travelling for work, I was not able to eat out 3 times a day for 7 days. He was quite rude and refused to offer any compensation. He kept saying this is not an issue and this is such a small thing, even though the kitchen which he advertised was not working. If you have any issues with this place, he will be extremely hard to deal with as well as being rude.

This place is perfekt for a weekend or extended stay. It's situated in the very trendy neighborhood of St.Gilles and located within walking distance of public transportation, bars, brunch places and restaurants, yet is still very quiet. It has a wonderfull view of a nice courtyard and offers direct sunlight, it's also nice and warm in the wintertime. Our host Francesco was very helpfull and was available via phone whenever we needed any sort of support. Thanks so much for having us, we're definitely coming back!!!

There really wasn't anything wrong with this place. It is basic, as the description suggests but still very cozy. Loved our stay!

Great location and very clean and comfortable accommodation. Do not over-expect, minimalist means minimalist yet you'll find there everything you really need. i.e, you do not actually need a TV set, do you?

Price is high for a one-person stay, even if location is great, but acceptable, yet this is a minimalist suite at a regular price
