Apartman Balna

Well located, clean and comfortable. Communication from the host was very good, as were the amenities. Close to attractions and restaurants and bars, but still quiet and peaceful. Would recommend.

The spiral staircase is steep and would be a challenge for the aged or infirmed.

Small place packs a big punch. Everything you need in a great location. We were impressed by the efficiency and style of the space.

It could get a bit noisy as the apartment is situated between a shop and apartment building entry way. Not a problem during sleeping hours.

- no way to find an agreement after our flight was cancelled: we paid full fare despite providing évidences of the plane being cancelled. - bugs all over the flat. The explanation was that they may be here because the flat was empty for 2 days... Really! We cleaned... Next day there were new ones again! And no commercial gesture, just a message to say 'Sorry we will have to do something about it.' - kitchenware is minimalistic: enough for 1 person to cook pasta. - no clear info about what to visit and where to shop (luckily we knew and had our program) - stiff staircase to get to the bedroom

Nice apartment in nice sourroundings.coffee shop, bars and market hall right around the corner. Well equipped and nice interieur. Liked also that it's on the ground floor and I could lock my bike indoors during night. Very nice owners, shown great flexibility in check out and let me stay longer. The apartment was very clean and the bed comfortable. There's also an A/C.

It smelled a bit on the first floor and when the neighbour shop opens you can hear them. The stairs are steap and might be a problem for some

Location is in Pest side and is fab, so many places to eat or drink near ( 5mins walk) The tram and metro are easy to access although we tended to walk as you get to see so much more. The accommodation is beju but great for 2 people. There is pretty much all you might need. Tea, coffee and even wine (small fee). Cooking facilities good if you want them- we didn't use thou. Spar opposite the apartment so so handy, cafe a few doors down too. We got used to the spiral staircase quite quickly. The hot water is good and plenty for showers. Info and communication really good from the beginning. I would recommend the local tap room- gravity great cocktails as well as beer. Also would recommend Guru guide app for a walking tour early in stay to get the most out of your visit. Bolt is great too, good price and handy on rainy evenings like we had to get back in early hours from ruin bars 🍸 😍

The only thing is the air con needs to go out of a space at the top of the shutters and this means the shutter has to be pushed to the top of frame, not as much an issue although lets in more light and we are short so harder to get it back down 😄 however the ac unit when on is loud. We had 34° C and to be fair a quick blast meant we were comfy enough to sleep. Others may not find the noise an issue, we are used to very quiet space at night.

Nice, clean place. Whole place with lots of stuff. Very central to Pest, basically anything a tourist would want to see or do is within a 10 minute walk or a short trip on public transport away. Fantastic value for money.

Toilet/shower smelled a little like sewage. Guess the door was a little fragile so if some crazy axe murderer wanted to break in, they'd have been able to. That's pretty unlikely tho.

Clean apartment, Good locality and accessibility to transport.

It is next to a street which can get busy during the day and we could hear people speaking in adjacent shop.
