My only criticism of the flat was trouble with the toilet flush. We had to adopt our own work around by removing the outer casing for the toilet flush. The stay would have been rated perfect if this was fixed 😊

Beautiful accommodation, which is just 5 minutes away from the metro station Oktogon and also close to the city centre by walking. The flat is big enough for 4 people for a few-day stay in Budapest. In the apartment there is a basic equipment for cooking, also washing machine, dishwasher and coffee machine (but no microwave). There are not noises from the street or other apartments, which is also great. The owner and staff was really kind and helpful - they even let us arrive one hour before the standard check-in time.

Everything was okay but maybe more cleaning in the kitchen would be great - there was an old milk in the fridge and some opened food in the freezer. We would also appreciate more towels (the small ones).

clean, spacious, well equpped! it has bed linen, towels, hair dryer, and clothing iron. the host even left the beer and coffe pods as a welcome gift! :) the location is also good, well conected to buses/tram lines.

the sofa in the living room can’t be expanded to bed for sleeping, so take that into consideration if that is something you need. but ven without that I could sleep well on the sofa :)

There is almost nothing to like about this property. It was a terrible experience from start to finish.

I travel the world full-time with my family. I have never once canceled a booking or requested alternate accommodations, and we regularly stay in budget hostels half the price of this appartment. This place was bad enough that I was willing to leave upon arrival, risk losing our entire 4 day booking fee, and walk across Budapest in the rain with 2 kids to find a new hotel. I never once received any communication from the host until we showed up at the unit and had to call him for instructions on how to get in. I actually begged a Grab driver just to let us into the building. Once inside, the building has no lights and feels very insecure and somewhat unsafe. The unit itself looked somewhat updated but the bathroom reeked of urine and the toilet was broken. When trying to lock the door, the door handle literally fell off and onto the ground. There was an old pair of someone’s sandals on the welcome mat, half drunk bottles of liquor and beer in the fridge, old food in the cupboards, and the beds didn’t appear fresh. I honestly called the owner and asked if he just forgot that we had booked because I was worried someone else was staying there. My wife did not feel comfortable staying so we decided to see if we could cancel the booking and make some sort of deal. But the owner was very rude and refused any help. After several calls with booking.com the owner agreed to a 50% refund for our stay, but then never sent the money. 3 weeks later booking.com had to call the owner again and he finally released the funds. Booking.com has informed me that they have a special team that reviews owners that have had multiple serious complaints against them, and that this team is conducting a review of this place right now. This was the worst experience with booking.com we have ever had.

Really lovely property. An excellent location, not far from the bars/restaurants at all, everything is in walking distance or bus/trams if necessary. The property itself was very comfy and spacious. Felt safe as well. Would definitely recommend.

I think the flush on the toilet is slightly broken but an easy fix if u just press it a few times. Just might need a plumber to look into it!
