Design apartment near Keleti Railway Station

This is a charming (but small) apartment in a quiet location but only a few minutes walk from Keleti railway station. Good value for money for a capital city.

The Vendégem app which you have to use to provide passport details of all guests is a bit of a pain, but that's probably the fault of the Hungarian authorities.

Retro vibe in a good location close to Keleti. The neighbourhood is clean and safe, the apartment is very quiet being in a nice courtyard. WiFi really fast. Judit is a helpful and responsive host. We appreciated the wine and there was a generous selection of toiletries. It was fine for two people but would be cramped for more, the apartment is compact and you only have two small picnic tables in a corridor to eat at. OK if you are eating out. The mezzanine is fun, like a tree house with a ladder. However it could be tricky for the less agile and you might struggle to carry luggage up there.

There is a smell of drains in the bathroom, probably unavoidable in a property of this age.

The transportation is very convenient, there are many restaurants and supermarkets nearby, and the rooms are well-equipped.

Judit was very helpful and left us some wine, fruit and cookies for us on arrival. The apartment had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. The location is very good making it easy to get around. The hop on hop off stop just a short 5 min walk away, also the metro stop and local bus stop.
