My friend and I recently enjoyed a short vacation to Budapest to celebrate her milestone birthday and we wanted to stay in accommodation which was central. Astoria Blue was that perfect location! Magdi and Ferenc were wonderful Hosts and made our stay there extremely enjoyable. Thankyou so much to Magdi for being at the apartment for our later than planned arrival and for the most fabulous welcome. Your cultural sightseeing, café/restaurant recommendations and transportation advice we found to be invaluable. The whole apartment was immaculate and tastefully decorated. We will definitely book Astoria Blue again for future trips to Budapest. Thankyou Magdi and Ferenc for giving us the opportunity to stay at your beautiful apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone wanting a prime location to discover the beautiful city of Budapest. Finally, Café Mindenem just outside the apartment block’s main front door is a foodie heaven and probably the best brunch ever! Delicious!

There was nothing that we didn’t like.

A beautiful and cozy studio in a historic building. Everything was clean and well-equipped — stove, fridge, microwave, and all the essentials. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful: he met us on time, explained everything clearly, and made both the check-in and check-out process very easy and smooth. The location is perfect, with shops and transport links just a short walk away. We were very happy with our stay!

Perfect location, very quiet and comfortable apartment with everything you might need for your stay. Owner allowed us a slightly early check in which was much appreciated.

Nothing it was perfect

It was very nicely made with attention to detail (which I appreciate). The location was very quiet and convenient. The host was very helpful and kind!

The bed which was located on the top floor was cozy but the stairs were a bit steep and made it difficult to go up and down, especially during the night.

The host was very friendly and eager to respond to every question we had. The room was exactly like the photos and had everything we needed. The apartment's location was perfect for a tourist—close to the bus station (including the airport bus), the metro station, and the city center. Everything was perfect! If I visit Budapest again, I will definitely choose the same apartment.

Everything was great—there was nothing to complain about.

Host was pleasant and happy to meet us late at night for check in. Well appointed and clean apartment. Great location with several metro stations within walking distance. Safe area. Stairs to loft are very steep which was ok for use but if you need to get up and down in the night could be quite treacherous. Host responsive to messages.

he bath towels needed replacing as they smelt very stale after only one use. Host seemed to think I was saying the towels hadn't been washed - more a case of inadequate drying or airing I think.
