Very comfortable, modern and spotlessly clean. Exactly as described in the listing and photos. Super safe and quiet area of zermatt with two lovely local restaurants within a two minute walk. Bus stop very close, walk into town about 20 minutes (is quite steep on the return and buses stop at 1930)! Shouldn’t dissuade you from staying here though as you feel like a local and it’s much less frantic than in town ! The view is also pretty cool :)

Communication regarding check in could have been better (it was non existent). I just turned up and found my name pinned to the wall! I only found the key by blind luck and had zero response from the hosts when asking re check in process. That said, it was a great place and would deffo stay again !

Kitchen very well equipped . Having 2 duvets was appreciated.

The lighting in lounge.

A lovely apartment, very clean with fantastic views of the Matterhorn. It had everything we needed for self catering. We enjoyed relaxing in the outdoor area taking in the mountain scenery. Located in a quiet street, its far enough away from the centre of Zermatt to justify a taxi on arrival / departure.

The location was good.

The apartment was not the apartment I paid for. I had rented the lofted attic apartment and was placed in the basement, instead. No partial refund was offered. The apartment does not come stocked with coffee, soap, shampoo, etc. While I was on a Zoom meeting for work, the owner came by peering through the windows and incessantly ringing the doorbell. He then demanded additional money in cash (over 200 CHF) and I agreed to wire the money to him so I could get back to work, as I did not have cash on me (and had already pre-paid via Booking.com). We wired the 200CHF and then, less than 2 days later, he demanded an additional 2,000 CHF. Anywhere else, there would have been a genuine apology for not providing the lofted attic apartment I had paid for with a view of the Matterhorn. Here, instead, I wasn't even offered a partial refund and was harassed by the owner. We made the most out of our experience but will not be returning to any property owned by this family.
