Spacious and clean apartment

Washer and dryer in a common place and unable to be used after 8 pm. Not a major issue for short stays. Demands a walk uphill to the apartment, again not difficult but something to plan for while carrying heavy luggages.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The views of the Matterhorn were fantastic and the location was very central, yet quiet. We greatly appreciated the welcome basket which included champagne, wine, pasta and chocolates. Communication with our host was good.

For the benefit of other guests. The listing states the apartment has a washing machine and dryer. It wasn't clear that these are not in the apartment itself, but are in a communal laundry room shared by all the apartments in the building. It wasn't a big deal, but it meant we needed coins on hand to operate the machines and it wasn't as convenient as having laundry facilities inside the apartment.
