Green Door Family Apartment

The location was wonderful. We used public transport all week. Our host gave us advice to get the monthly pass which was cheaper than the other options. We enjoyed the Budapest jazz club that was nearby, also a Vivaldi concert at St Michael’s church. It was nice having the space in the apt and feeling a little more like a local.

Excellent location, and the host had excellent communication with us throughout our stay. The place was very, very, very clean. If we come back to Budapest, we will definitely stay there again!

Vendéglátók kedvessége! Gyümölcsöket, csokoládét is bekészítettek a fogadásunkra. Telefonon és e-mailben is el lehetett érni őket, de nem volt gond, hogy szükség lett volna erre.

Tiszta, rendezett, nagy, teljesen felszerelt konyha. Margit híd lábánál, boltok, éttermek, kávézók, tömegközlekedés karnyújtásnyira!

Bár előre megbeszéltük mikor érkezünk, a tulajdonos még a lakáson volt érkezésünkkor és kb 20 percig még utána. A kilátásról készült kép enyhén szólva túlzó.

Although well maintained, the property (and the building as a whole) has a somewhat dated charm.

We stayed here with my husband and our 2.5-year-old child and truly had a wonderful time. The location is perfect - everything is close by, including a lovely playground within walking distance, which was a big plus for us. There are also plenty of shops, restaurants, and beautiful tourist spots nearby. The apartments are located in a charming, historic building with a unique atmosphere. Even though the area might seem a bit lively, it is actually very peaceful inside - especially at night, which made our stay very relaxing and comfortable. The apartment had everything we needed and more. We especially appreciated the toys for children - despite having lots of toys at home, our child didn’t want to play with anything else! There is also a smart TV, which can be very helpful 🙂 But what truly made this stay special were the owners. They are incredibly kind, attentive, and always in touch. You can really feel that they care. They were so helpful and supportive - it made us feel very welcome and at home. Truly wonderful people. If we ever visit this city again, we would love to stay here again. Warm greetings to Ágnes and David - we hope to see you again someday!
