"Really nice for the price we payd."

8.0

The design and the location was great. Exactly between two metro stations, line 4 and 3.

The upper bed’s should have some string rails or something up until the ceiling because this way we where afraid two let our two year old to sleep there. Otherwise it’s great for kids.

"Homely well positioned dated apartment"

8.0

Very good location a short walk from transport shops and many resturants. Super support via email or phone. Nice compact apartment. In general the apartment felt very homely after a day. The mattresses were nice and firm but very close to end of life.

I could not shower because there was no place to hang the shower head on the wall. There was only enough lovely hot water to half fill the bath. I would use less hot water with a shower. The settee in the living room is not comfortable at all. The pillows on the beds are beyond bad but that seems to be normal in Budapest.

"Great location, value for money."

9.0

Great Location, very clean apartment with comfortable beds, clear communication from landlords , well equipped kitchen. Comfortable sofas, good sized tv, efficient air conditioning plus a fan (important ax we were there during a heatwave). Good value for money. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

Not particularly a dislike, but the apartment is advertised as 2 bedrooms. In reality in it is a very spacious studio with a double bed which is partially private (an extra screen would improve matters) plus two single beds on a mezzanine floor. Perfect for a couple with one or two children, but slightly small for our party of 4 adults. However, we coped as we were out seeing the multitude of brilliant sights in Budapest..

Very close to the center and public transportation, the old building was very nice, cool place with a/c (we traveled in a very hot period), nice design of the room, very well equiped (kitchen, bathroom). A good price overall

Not so clean The place is basically a one room apartment, with 2 small sleeping areas (open space). There is no intimacy (there are no doors). For us was no problem as we traveled with our kids, but it might be for others.

"PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING!!!"

3.0

*Long message incoming! READ BEFORE BOOKING A RESERVATION* I have to start by saying that I do not complain of small things and I never had major issues with previous reservations. Checking in was the first bump. The security box where you need to enter the code isn't next to the main gate but it is outside on the street (cannot be seen easily). When I contacted the apartment they didn't understand English well and couldn't help me with it....if it wasn't for 2 ladies in the street that knew English we would have waited for a long time without the issue being solved. When I later sent a message to customer care they told me that its not their fault that I couldn't find the box 😂 very professional indeed! When I got in the first thing I noticed was the foul smell of mould. It is very powering and you can smell it everyday when you come inside the apartment Secondly when taking a shower water will start dripping from behind the washing machine and there is water all over the bathroom floor (so we had to cover the whole floor with towels prior to taking a shower). Thirdly the AC made a lot of strange noises and it was dripping water many times (again we had to put towels underneath it in order to contain the spillage) Fourthly the cooker doesn't even work. I had to contact the customer care after the last three problems mentioned....they wanted me to leave the key outside the apartment in the safety box to which I declined because it was the only key we had to enter the apartment. When I asked them to use the spare key they told me that the keys are locked in the office. I contacted the booking.com customer care and they sent us a maintenance person. The maintenance person was a very friendly and helpful guy! He solved the issues that he could and he explained that some malfunctions can't be fixed because they need repair and the management doesn't provide fees for that.

"Save your money and find another apartment or hotel"

1.0

The location wasn’t awful. A little dirty but generally convenient. Laundry machine works but smalls like mold.

Where do I start? Firstly it’s small, especially for 4 (adult) people. The lofted bedroom consists of two mattresses on the floor with no room to move or for storage. The winding staircase up to the loft has no handrail and is dangerous to navigate. There is one mini-split A/C which clearly doesn’t have the capacity to keep up with the demand in the summer. The apartment was warm all day and night and made sleeping extremely uncomfortable. When I asked management for an additional fan, I got a short and rude response of “No”. The main bedroom area is also extremely tight and the mattress is without a doubt, the most miserable and uncomfortable one on which I’ve ever had the displeasure of sleeping. My wife and I hardly slept and after two nights, left this place and got a hotel in a different part of town. Although the sleeping accommodations can manage 4, there are three chairs for the dining table. The kitchen and fridge are puny, so I wouldn’t plan to actually cook meals here. In addition, the sofa was hard and not a great place to spend any time relaxing. Lastly, the bathroom is something from another era, with exposed tubes, tanks, and various plumbing parts, it certainly evokes a feeling of what it must have been like to live here in the 60s or 70s - probably the last time any updates were made here. The photos used in this listing are deceiving, as an impossible amount of additional light must have been brought in the take them in the small, dingy, hole.
