All OK though no contact with proprietor was unusual though nice. Self catering so all ok

No usual tv. All done through apps on TV.

The property is beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. Lots of lovely decorative items as well as nice extras like tissues, cotton wool, toiletries give a homely feel and show attention has been given to detail. There is free parking on the road right outside the windows. There is wi-fi, which is a must these days, and the TV had BBC (didn't try other channels). Great location for Aberlour's attractions including the distillery and waterfall walk nearby with a short walk to shops. Beds were very comfortable, duvets were super warm and pillows perfect for me (always a bonus!). Heating was easy to use (although the flat was not warm when we arrived), plenty of hot water and an excellent shower.

No dining table - why not replace the large armchair with a small table? Or at least provide trays for eating on your lap. No welcome pack although some leftovers in the fridge and tea/coffee provided. Not enough crockery for a full house. No obvious recycling facilities. Apartment not warmed although we had given an arrival time. There is road noise but earplugs dealt with that. The noise from upstairs all but ruined our stay!!! Thumping of kids running up and down from 6 am and hoovering from 6.30 am penetrated the earplugs. This property is more suited to early-risers and those who are not expecting to relax in peace and tranquility. Were it not for this, I would have given a higher rating.
