I stayed one in Greenapartment. It was clean and everything was well organised. Taking to the account its price, it is a very good option.

The check in : We have to download and install a app, we scan our ID cards and we did'nt receive any instruction for the check in. After a lot of mesages with the owner (his english is incomprensible) we have to send him again, fotos of our ID cards on whatsapp (in the night, on the street, with luggage). More important : We spend the night chasing bedbugs from the bed, from the floor, from our pillows. Some of them are full of blods (our or other guests). Our luggage was infested. It is a hard work to check and desinfect all the luggage outside our home when returning ! Infesting an apartment with bedbugs means a very serious problem, with expensive solutions. The apartment of Budapest is a threat to public health.

You can check-in at any time since you will get the key yourself. Easy access to public transport. Clean and cosy apartment.

The bad creaks. But still comfy.

It looks even better than on pictures, kitchenette is small, but well-equipped.

The bed was on a harder side.

Clean apartment, kind, responsive host, nice silent neighborhood.

If keys could be picked up without the need of the host, would be nice.

Public transport nearby

The apartment is right next to the main entrance to the block. The door to the block creaks, which is very annoying because it wakes you up every time someone comes/leaves. Even the bed creaks every time you turn or move. Before leaving, the owner informed us that we have to clean/leave the apartment clean, otherwise they will charge us 50e, which is very ironic considering that the apartment was dirty upon arrival. The floor was sticky, and the refrigerator was even worse. It stank so much that we had the windows open for more than 2 hours but we couln't get rid of it. Of course, we cleaned out the refrigerator and found a tray under the freezer full of water and smelly orange slime. When we wrote to the owner, his answer was that it stinks because the guests who stayed before us left food in the refrigerator, but their cleaning control did not catch it and the food went bad. So they don't even clean the fridge after every guest? However, the problem wasn't the forgotten food at all but the fact that the tray under the freezer unit had never been cleaned and was full of disgusting smelly slime.
