Lovely 1 bedroom flat with central location

Great apartment in a quiet street, central location. Owner was quick to respond, great communication on direction how to get into the apartment. We loved our stay.

A beautiful flat with plenty of space, very secured and recently refurbished, only 10 minutes away by foot from subway stations and interesting Budapest sites. The host was quick to reply to messages and even left a small welcoming gift. The WiFi was good.

The pipes of the heating system made some noises while on, it could bother light sleepers during the night.

Perfect stay! I will look for that apartment for my next trip in Budapest :)

The central location. The good heating. The hot water when taking shower. The generous bottles of sparkling water and wine upon arrival. The spacious room especially for solo travellers.

The apartment has two doors, one inner and one outside. While the outside was working and could easily be locked, the indoor door could not be locked easily and there were no clear instructions from the host on how the mechanism is working. I called the property owner who does not live in the city of Budapest and he was explaining how it works over the phone. I sent him two videos of me showing that I was unable to lock and he answered that he couldn’t do anything from far away and that he would send his dad the next morning to check it out. Also he mentioned that I may be crazy and I may want just to complain. A very rude and unprofessional way of handling such a customer concern. Even if the guest cannot understand something, you have to make them feel reassured and answer with politeness. At the end, I must admit that he sent his father to explain the mechanism in detail and I mentioned that the clear details should be provided to the guests in written moving forward; his dad agreed on providing instructions, so I hope nobody will experience this kind of inconvenience in the future.

Very nice apartament. We did not meet the owner, only his dad, both seems to be very nice people. Apartament is very clean, there are towels, hair drier, soap, ... generally everything you need. It was very quit there, heating was working as expected, etc. Generally we have no complaints. Good luck to the owner and we will gladly rent it again!

Good location. Clean and well equipped.

First expression to property is deceiving as the entrance and court yard needs serious maintenance.
