Castle Area Apartment

Comfortable, clean, quiet apartment in a good location to Budapest. Nice view. Very helpful host who couldn't do enough for us. Thank you Peter. Plenty of room for 2/3 with kitchen facilities. Basic but everything in working order to make a simple meal and breakfast etc. Close to shop and bus stops. Do not expect a modern apartment with latest gadgets. This did not bother us at all and we liked the feel of the place.

Care had to be taken with the shower door as it was a bit fragile.

- The host (Peter) was super friendly. He met us outside even when we arrived at midnight and showed us the place including nice spots to visit etc. He even mended a broken handle promptly (our fault) - Good location: right on the bus line in Buda and walking distance to tram. 10 min bus ride to Pest - Apartment was comfortable, warm and had all the necessary utensils - Excellent wifi

- It's a super old building and you have to take stairs from 5th to 6th floor to reach the apartment. Railings are old and it was a bit uncomfortable especially with a kid - Creaky floor boards in some places - The check in code did not work and we had to wait outside for a while for the host to show up - Not particularly great views as the nearby Apartments block most of the view - The booking.com Taxi service did not work as the apartment was in a different location to the original booking. Luckily the Taxi guy was friendly and drove us to the different place

Owner is super helpful, responsive and kind! He made sure we had all the information we needed and checked on us to make sure we are comfortable. Very kind to also allow us a late check out! The unit is situated in a central location with nice views of the city. Very comfortable and clean apartment! I loved everything but the only downside to this apartment is that it is on the 6th floor and the lift only goes up to 5th so you will need to climb 1 flight of stairs with your baggage but owner has very kindly offered to carry your bag for you :D

Absolutely fantastic apartment. Very convenient to get to the castle and to Pest. Very close to public transport. The place is spotless clean and Peter was so friendly and helpful. He went through the map of the city showing popular sights and gave clear instructions on public transport. We would definitely stay again.

Nice, clean, convenient apartment, close to Buda Castle area (15 minutes walk). Peter, the owner, provided clear instructions regarding the parking space for the car and other useful info. Overall, a great choice and excelent rapport quality-price. Recomand!

Quiet neighbourhood yet close to the city centre and a lot of the sights. Peter was lovely and helpful. The apartment is clean and looks just like the photos. All around experience was great.
