Apartamenty Toledo

Stunning little apartment located in the depths of the old town with fabulous views of the castle above, very clean & comfortable. Perfectly situated for exploring - be warned there are lots of steps (37!) on the spiral staircase leading up to the apartment, which is on the second floor. Great air conditioning & lots of nice little unexpected extras (beach towels, parasol etc) & beautifully decorated.

There are a crazy amount of keys (5 different locks for 3 different doors to get in/out) & it would be really very helpful if they were clearly labelled!! It can be quite noisy outside at night, but with its location that is to be expected. We also really struggled with taxis - the taxi from the airport dropped us off a good 5 minutes walk away & we had to find the apartment for ourselves, which we weren't expecting. We also couldn't find any taxi willing to collect us from the actual apartment on the return journey, although we had seen a few cars on the street outside Toledo so it must be accessible, so had to lug our cases out to the main taxi rank (LOTS of steep steps to navigate down through the upper old town). Just be aware there are two different apartments available on Booking.com so check photos carefully. Ours had one bedroom with twin beds & a comfy sofa bed in the living area.

The apartment was one of the best apartments we have ever stayed in. Not only the cleanliness, but also the amenities (we couldn't think of anything that could be missing:) ) and last but not least the location, it was just perfect. Each room has its own independent air conditioning, the wifi is also working well. There is also a choice of towels and parasols to take to the beach. The apartment is located in an apartment building in the beautiful old town near the cathedral, just 450 meters from the beach and the promenade. The more distant beaches are easily reached by tram, from the nearby underground stop, it is wonderful to ride around the coast. Also, the language school we chose is within a short walking distance.

At the end we had a small misunderstanding with the cleaning lady, but everything was solved thanks to the owner and we will remember our stay only in a good way.

Excellent location in the old town of Alicante, vís-a-vis Castillo Santa Bárbara. Spacious, very clean and easily accessible (2nd floor) flat. The house keeper is very helpful and friendly. Early check-in was possible and offered by the owner.

The bed was really hard, it felt as if the mattress was too thin.

Comfortable apartment. Close to the beach, restaurants and historical places. For tourists from Poland, contact also in their native language :)

The apartment is great. Small but so cosy and inviting. I loved the decor. Big bathroom with eberything you need and the sleeping arrangements perfect. It has a nice little balcony with two chairs, great to stay outside in the evening to watch the lights of the castle. All in all, a beautiful apartment. Thank you!
