Vale do lobo is beautifully designed and maintained, and Apartment Joanne in a lovely spot within the area, very close to tennis accademy where we were able to enjoy some pleasant meals on their terrace. A decent size plunge pool was really appreciated and the apartment was very well equipped and lacking in nothing we needed. We would highly recommend and hope to visit again.

our only slight disappointment, was that natural light in the apartment was a little restricted and at certain times of the day difficult to find areas in the outside space to sunbath, due to surrounding but attractive vegetation.

The villa was spotless. The bedrooms were spacious. The beds/pillows/ linen etc were super comfortable. Pool towels and separate bath towels provided. The outside space is small but enough for a spot of sunbathing, kids were happy playing in the pool and we could sit and eat outside at the table. The kitchen is a great size and the location is fab. Parking is easy and directly outside the property. The cleaners came multiple times during our stay which was a nice touch.

The only negative point is that we couldn't find any BBQ implements but we made do! The shower was slow to drain.

Key's where located in a locked box on the property grounds, no need to contact anyone or 'check in', we arrrived at our ease and. used the password given to us personally to access the key. two sets of keys where available which was great too!

I was very concerned when the host contacted me via email and also on booking.com chat for 'check in details', they requested passport copies and specific information on guests staying. They sent a link via email which did not work, I gave my details directly but this made me very uneasy as I was concerned of scamming.
