Penzion Starobor

Vse bylo vynikajici a urcite se tam vratime. Penzion je na nadhernem a klidnem miste. Pokoj pekny, cisty a dobre vybaveny. Spolecenskou mistonost a hriste jiste oceni kazdy, kdo cestuje s detmi. Pan majitel byl take velmi ochotny a dal nam cenne rady ohledne aktivit v okoli. Dekujeme za vsechno!!

I really liked the area, being essentially alone in the woods, and of course the hearth downstairs in the shared room (we were the only guests there at the time, but still). The owner prepared the hearth for us each day - I probably couldn't. There were also some toys and playthings for my kids to enjoy and the homemade honey was a nice touch. One of the best guesthouses I've stayed in in Czechia.

Please note that the nearby pond is drained dry for the fourth month in a row. This is not the fault of the accomodation owner - he himself is annoyed by it - but it may affect your experience relative to expectations.

The location beside a lake and in woodland was very calm, peaceful and beautiful. There was some interesting wildlife to see and lovely walks. It was very well catered for children and outdoor living.

There were a few basics missing for a family stay. A washing machine in the communal downstairs kitchen would have been very helpful. I needed a cafetiere for coffee and a big knife for bread as the apartments are self catering. Otherwise they were very well equipped. A sofa downstairs rather than wooden tables and chairs would be better for relaxing.
