The Partchery Devonport

The studio had many little treats, like home made jam, a small starter milk carton, coffee, and cake all very much appreciated. Very nice interior decorations. Easy walk to the beach. Loverly bed linen.

We liked the hosts, and they are so very kind. However, we felt that they like to treat guests as if they are family. This may be ok with some guests, however, we found this to be very uncomfortable, especially, when Wendy so kindly offered to take us to the wedding that we were attending, then decided to attend the wedding, and to chat with the bride before the wedding, so holding up the wedding. I could give more examples, however, I won't as Mike and Wendy certainly do have amazing accommodation, that will suit most guests.

This was by far the best accommodation we had during our visit to New Zealand. Everything was exceptional!! Wendy was friendly and informative. The accommodation had all the best appliances and kitchenware, everything we needed including a washing machine at no additional cost. It was immaculate and far exceeded our expectations. It was private and very comfortable. I would highly recommend the Partchery Devonport. Added bonus the photos, artwork and patchwork was beautiful.

After a bit of movement on arrival times Wendy met us at the driveway took us inside and gave us a full explanation of everything to do with the property and walks etc. There were lovely breakfast provisions provided for a day or 2, plus a few treats.

Beautiful hosts , gardens , art and private.

Backing down the long driveway was difficult but made easier with flouro markings all the way down. Getting out of drivers seat when hugged up against side of drive was a squeeze but manageable.

This has definitely been the best accommodation I have stayed. Location…..excellent, accommodation setting….excellent, facilities…..excellent, quality of linen/towels….excellent, provisions…..excellent, Cleanliness….excellent. The host also had my home flag raised at the entrance, and gave me a tour of the surrounding area of Devonport. Exceptional.

Everything was excellent.
