Value 1-Bedroom Apartment

Everything was great, loved the dishwasher and washing machine, plenty of crockery and pots and pans.

The light right outside the bedroom window was a bit of a downer and made for a somewhat restless sleep - outside of the control of the hosts! Some of the instructions might need updating: - no shuttle from the leisure centre in the off season (not that we needed one, it was steep but not far to walk). - the photos are a bit old and had us confused. For example, the wall along the street for temporary parking is different, and the bins box is metal not wood. Again, no biggie but just some feedback if it can help the next person 😊

I liked that the cleaner was able to come the next day to rectify the issues within her control

I did not like the passive-aggressive communication from the host. He blamed everyone else for the issues and did not take accountability. He was more interested in his own holiday than doing his job as host. I did not like staying in someone else's cluttered home, with notes all over the apartment threatening consequences for noncompliance. The host thinks he can provide an ill-maintained apartment because guests are coming for the location benefits. While it may be cheap for Thredbo the expectation is to maintain a clean and functional apartment with friendly service.

Broken tv and lounge. It was advertised as having a parking space which it didn’t.

Very old bathroom with tiles from the 1950’s and 1960’s. No money has obviously been spent to upgrade the apartment to make it look more attractive. Also, the pullout sofa doesn’t fit anywhere!. Also, there is NO parking which wasn’t mentioned at time of booking. One had to park down a hill to the overnight car park. Luckily it wasn’t pouring with rain!

Location, close to gondola lift station and information center.

Mold everywhere, ceiling in the bathroom and toilet, all over the cabinet, even the mattress smells of mold. It is not livable If you care about your health.
