We had the most wonderful 2-day stay in Bellagio, and a big part of that was thanks to our amazing host, Vittorio. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. He had thoughtfully prepared a detailed plan for us, ensuring we didn’t miss out on any of the must-see attractions around Lake Como. Not only that, but he took the time to personally explain everything to us, which made exploring the area so much easier and more enjoyable. Vittorio also helped us with our luggage and made sure we caught our bus to Milan on time when we were running late — something we truly appreciated. His home is the perfect retreat: beautifully designed rooms and a lovely outdoor space to relax, just a few steps from the lake. The peaceful ambiance made it the perfect base for our time in Bellagio. He is genuinely one of the kindest and most open-hearted hosts we’ve ever met — friendly, helpful, and always smiling. We had the best time and felt like we didn’t miss a thing. If we ever return to Bellagio, this is without a doubt where we’ll stay again, and we’ll be recommending it to all our friends and family back in India. Thank you, Vittorio, for everything!

We had an amazing stay at Vittorio and Diana's place. Our hosts were so welcoming, friendly, and we felt at home straight away. The studio is gorgeous - beautifully decorated and thoughtfully supplied with amenities. The garden has seating and lounge chairs which are really lovely to use to relax in the garden and enjoy the scenery. We really appreciated how Vittorio went above and beyond - showing us Bellagio and making a dinner reservation on our behalf. Staying at Monolocali in Casa Con Giardino Bellagio was the highlight of our trip to Lake Como and we would highly recommend staying here to everybody. If we could give a rating higher than 10 we would. We cannot wait to stay again!

It's hard to describe how unique and special the experience of visiting Vittorio and Diana was. Saying it was a pleasure is simply not enough. The apartment was very clean, fragrant, and cozy. The garden was available for our use. Slightly off the beaten path, but the walk to the center is very pleasant. In our opinion, the location is perfect. Staying with Vittorio and Diana means you can forget about guidebooks – they'll tell you all about the most important places and where it's truly worth going. We recommend, recommend, and recommend again! A rating of 10 is definitely not enough!

This accommodation was the best we ever had in Italy. First, we had in mind to find a location suitable for visiting Lake Como with all its beautiful places and we were right: Bellagio is definitely the best starter point to explore all the rest (Varenna, Menaggio, Tremezzo, Bellano and Como). Then, we found this beautiful house with big garden, perfect parking spot right in the garden, very clean rooms, table for coffee in front of our room, a cozy gazebo to drink wine and one additional room to enjoy one big collection of music, books about Lake Como and boardgames. I will forever cherish my last rainy morning in Lake Como when I listened to De Sfroos music (one singer originally from Bellagio) and read a book about the history of Lake Como, full of old images. The accommodation is far from the overcrowded center, but the route to the center is easily manageable on foot or with a car, depending on your preference. We had a small grocery shop very close to us. Last but not least, we met the family who runs this business, so professional, friendly, and well intended. Our host made the whole experience even more authentic. It was simply fantastic! Vittorio welcomed us with a bottle of wine, helped us with reservations for Villa Serbelloni, advised us every single day about our plans, and was always willing to help. We loved to experience human connection with one traditional italian family, and that reminded us why we love the Italian spirit. I totally recommend this accommodation, and our suggestion would be to reserve around 4 days or even more if you like hiking and want to visit Lake Como!

An Unforgettable Stay at Monolocali! Our stay at Monolocali was absolutely perfect from start to finish! We were warmly welcomed with Prosecco and snacks, which was a lovely touch. Our host, Vittorio, is truly exceptional. He is incredibly kind, extraordinarily helpful, and unbelievably dedicated to his guests. He provided us with maps outlining walking routes to the town center and essential information about exploring the most interesting places in Bellagio and the surrounding area. The spacious studio is located in an charming Alpine-style house and is equipped with all the necessary amenities, including air conditioning. Guests also have access to a beautifully maintained garden with a gazebo, grill, and sun loungers. Vittorio treats his guests like family members – we've never experienced such incredible hospitality. We highly recommend Monolocali and can't wait to return!

Vittorio and Diana were amazing hosts! We stayed here on our honeymoon and they were extremely helpful in every way. Comfortable and well equipped accomodation. Great location too.

It was amazing!! Super clean and beautiful garden to sit in. 25 minute walk from downtown Bellagio made it a great location. Hosts were so friendly and were lots of help in navigating the city. They even provided a binder of information about Bellagio and surrounding towns. Would highly recommend to all! Also a very cute cat that you can find lurking around the garden and a delicious bakery right next door :)

Our stay at Monolocali was just great ! Vittorio and Diana, the owners of the place, were very helpful and thought about every little detail in the room. You have everything you need for the comfortable stay from bathrobes till washing powder in the room. They also complimented us with a bottle of a local prosecco which was just in time to enjoy at our own garden in front of the room. The location of the house is just 20 mins walking from Bellagio and if you are by car it is just 5 mins. Vittorio will guide you on everything : from where to park your car till where to eat :) so if you decide to stay at his place, your agenda for Como is set already !!! We will definitely come back
