Valerija

We were really lucky to have the possibility to stay at Valerija for one week. Well equipped apartment in great location, just few steps from the beach with a lot of shade. It is also very close to the beautiful old town of Tribunj. The location is quiet and hosts are very kind!

Location is perfect, host was super friendly, room was new, clean and fully equipped, the bathroom was neat and tidy,balcony had a sea wiev and was perfect for evening. Comfy bed and spacious room. Parking spot with shade.

All was good.

The place is good and quiet. The apartment was clean and comfortable for a family stay, and it’s close to the beach. Parking is available in the yard. The property met my expectations. I appreciated the hosts' hospitality and the convenient location, with special thanks to Valerija for the tasty Croatian donuts and the nice chats. Thank you for our great time in Croatia.

The hospitality was amazing, the grandmother and the whole family are so lovely. Perfect Apartment, everything you need is there, even a good working fridge. Strong Wifi. Parking in the court of the house. A few steps to the beach. A balcony with privacy and a good view to the seaside.

The bed was a little bit too soft for my taste but many people like it so and I‘m flexible. The worst thing was that I only had 1 night.

Super clean place with great WiFi. The host was very friendly. The apartment had everything we needed (including a dishwasher!) and the beach was right outside. Loved our stay here.

Good location, and Angela (and her sister) and the older lady,presumably Valerija, were very friendly and helpful. As previous reviews, Valerija showered us with gifts - figs, oranges, a bay leave branch, another aromatic branch of leaves, and a colour print of Tribunj. We had a studio on the 2nd floor which was fairly small but which had everything needed in the kitchen area on various shelves + 2 cooking rings on the draining board. There was a TV but no English language channels. Good free wifi. Table + 2 chairs which were comfortable enough to sit on all evening, and a large double bed with a good mattress. Good strong shower with hot water (needed to turn the boiler on to heat the water). Balcony looking towards the sea through some trees. Free parking in the courtyard. There was a washing machine in an empty apartment where we were able to do our washing for free, add then hang it out over the courtyard on wires. Though it was the end of the season and places were closing down, Tribunj has several cafés and good restaurants which were open - clearly partly for the locals (a good recommendation), and we enjoyed them.

The actual bedding was very uncomfortable - somehow felt scratchy and additionally the duvet cover was of a manmade “seersucker” material and thus also felt hot as well as scratchy. There was no horizontal working space for preparing food but for the table at the other side of the studio and we had to keep putting dishes and pans on the floor It was difficult to get around the small bathroom due to its door - it would have been easier if the door opened into the main studio instead of the into the bathroom

The owner of the apartment, Valeriy, and her granddaughter Angela were very hospitable. We arrived late in the evening. The hostess of the apartment immediately invited us to a table at which the guests from the apartment were sitting. We were tired and didn't go. We were sent a plate of figs to our room. And in the morning, although it was not included in the price, they brought us spaghetti with chicken and tomatoes. We parked the car in the parking lot at the house. The room was clean and had everything you needed. It was 50 meters to the sea and the beach. We stayed for two days, so we did not want special conditions for ourselves.
