Sommarøya Beach Apartment

Location was great, super easy communication!

I might suggest a little bench in the entrance to put on Winter boots etc and a shelve in the shower for hair products

The property is set in the most idyllic location. It is modern and perfect for a small family. We stayed in the downstairs apartment and had a very comfortable 5 days.

I really like the kitchen is very complete.. like my own home🥰 only the weather is not so good it's raining and stormy so I can't enjoy the outside the house.

Clean and modern - very nice! Lovely place to stay and experience this part of the world. It was wonderful to experience the northern lights each night - we were very lucky!

It is disappointing the one bedroom apartment does not have views over the beach, water and mountains like the bigger apartment above.

Fully equipped kitchen, cosy flat.

There could be some board games and cable TV. It gets a bit boring in the house in the evenings (and it gets dark quickly in February). Yes, there is google chromcast, but we personally don't like to watch youtube or netflix, so we were a bit disappointed.

The location is beautiful, in the apartment you will find everything that you need. The bed was too soft for us but it's about preferences.

Some of the kitchen equipment was dirty (not washed properly) but this is not really the owner's fault.

Just perfect! This year, I was determined to have a holiday where I relaxed and chilled out. I hit the jackpot here. The apartment is clean and had everything I needed, including a lovely, comfortable bed. Right in front of the apartment is a small beach, and just sitting watching the world go by was heaven. The water is a bit chilly but so clear that I was transfixed by it. This is a great base to explore Sommerøya. It is only a small place but so many beaches and bays and I loved that as time passed each view was slightly different than before. Honestly, this place is heaven on earth-I cannot recommend it enough. People pay thousands for wellness retreats, but I am leaving feeling refreshed and revitalised.Thankyou 😊 Also, I was not in a car, but the apartment is easily reached on the 420 bus from Tromsø(it runs two or three times a day in the summer)., the Baptist church stop is a few metres from the apartment.

Only the fact I did not book a longer stay!!
