"We had a lovely relaxing time and Beverley is a great place to visit"

The location was perfect just outside the city gate and we were provided with a parking permit. The apartment was beautiful.

Water in shower scalding hot with no control. I’m sure that will be fixed for next guest as hosts were very accommodating.

Beautiful apartment, everything needed, including tea/coffee/milk/ biscuits. Very tastefully decorated. Comfy beds and settee. Lovely bathrooms and additional 3rd toilet. Excellent location with parking outside with hosts providing a permit. Brilliant hosts, very accommodating and responsive.

Not a dislike as we were aware. Stairs are very steep and quirky, top tip don’t wear socks you’ll slip, personal experience 🥴🤪

"Gorgeous period apartment in a great location"

Fantastic location, beautifully decorated apartment. Felt very comfortable to be there. Apartment owners were responsive and very friendly.

It’s more a feature, but the stairs are not for the faint hearted or infirm. Very narrow and steep. But it’s the character of the building so also makes it.

"Disappointing to find the apartment so cold and disappointing in the response or lack from the host."

Beautiful apartment, furnishings were to a high standard, and a great location.

Heating wasn’t set correctly by the hosts. It was 11 degrees when we arrived. We increased the temperature on the stat and the heating come straight on. We went out in the town for 3 hours and came back to the apartment which had got to 14 degrees. We decided to leave the apartment as it wasn’t an acceptable and wouldn’t have got to a comfortable temperature in the short time we were there. I contacted Karl to let him know what the situation was and explained what the issue was. I haven’t had anymore communication about a resolution no offer of money back or an alternative stay.
