Casa Viola Vicenza - Free Parking & Relax

My wife and I tend to spend 2-3 days in one place with walking around and enjoying the atmosphere and then moving a bit again to the next place. This may influence our assessment of accommodations. Let's start with things we enjoyed: - The landlords. Violeta was waiting for us to come and not only show us details of the accommodation but flood us with information on what to see, where to eat and any other practicality you can think of. Plus you you get tea, coffee, water and some biscuits to start with. - The place. The surroundings are peaceful, Parking is possible right in front of the house. A bus stop is round the corner (well, it is the second corner, but it is still very close). You can get to the centre within 15 minutes, and not to bother about parking. Buses are every 20 minutes in rush hours, every 30 minutes the rest of the day. If you want to use the bus, we would recommend to use a mobile application where you can buy the tickets: 1.70€ per person and trip. Only remember that the last bus is about 20:30 from the centre. Still, we found the bus a (nearly) perfect option to explore the city! - Space. The apartment encompass most of the ground floor. The room is spacious and light. Plus you can sit outside, if you like. There is a little desk to read and write, apart from the standard kitchen table, a little sitting area, enough space to put your things in. - Equipment. Everything is available and working fine. You could cook here, if you choose. Everything was clean and ready.

(Very) few things to consider. - Lighting. Well, it is certainly possible to use the desk mentioned above, but if you would like to read using the sitting area, read in bed, or even in the kitchen, it is slightly more difficult. Our experience is that this is something to improve nearly everywhere we have been. It's a pity, as there was a "cozy light" standing lamp in the corner of the room, but giving a more ambient light than an option for readers. - Wifi? It seemed a bit unstable. We did not bother the landlord and did not use it that much, but once or twice I had to switch to mobile data instead. With plenty data available in my mobile it was not a problem, and maybe we just had bad luck. - Shower head? It is a minor thing and understandably a matter of personal taste. The supertiny holes producing nearly a massage effect are not to my liking (particularly if it is the only option).

Both Federico and Violeta are excellent hosts. Very helpful and informative to tell me places to eat and some other questions I have.Everything went well with the stay. Apartment is close to bus stop, clean and bright and comfortable… it’s spacious as well and nicely decorated 😀

The apartmant is more then enough spacious for two persons and equipped with all you need for a few days. It is in a tranquil location but still close to everything.

All is super. The owners are great
