Breakish Bay Pods (Pod 2)

Der Pod ist wundervoll ausgestattet und vor allem sehr sauber gewesen. Es gibt eine Küchenzeile (Wasserkocher, Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank, Toaster, Geschirr, Spülbecken), eine Couch, ein sehr bequemes Bett und ein kleines Bad mit Dusche. Da es ein Pod ist ist das Bad wirklich klein und vor allem die Dusche, das sollte einem aber klar sein. Es gibt warmes Wasser, Strom, einen Luftenfeuchter, Heizung, WLAN, einen Fernseher, es ist wirklich alles da was man brauchen könnte! Auch hat jeder Pod einen eigenen grossen Parkplatz. Nur ein paar Minuten Fahrt entfernt sind Restaurants und ein grosser Supermarkt zu finden. Auch eine Wäscherei (Sheila‘s Laundry) ist nur 10 min entfernt. Der Pod ist zwar nicht ganz billig, aber für das was man bekommt auf alle Fälle sein Geld wert, vor allem wenn man bedenkt wie viel teurer andere Unterkünfte auf der Isle of Skye sind. Man fährt zwar zu manchen Sehenswürdigkeiten etwas länger, aber es ist trotzdem eine gute Ausgangslage. Absolut zu empfehlen!

Would have been nice to have a hot plate, but there was a toaster and microwave. NOT cooking outdoors weather!

Beautiful location. Very friendly and attentive hosts. Perfect for our visit to Skye. The pod was equipped with a fridge, microwave and toaster. Other cooking was outdoors.

This was our first time staying in a pod, so we were not quite sure what to expect. Pods are very small, so the bed,shower, are on the small side.

the pod is a different way to have a stay. I am a big traveller and love to have my freedom which a pod in the middle of nature but still in a very controle environnement, kitchen, tv, internet, hot shower and few steps from your car and village shops. I believed that the view from the pod is probably the best in all Skye, the sea in front with mainland on the background and basically all the range of mountains are display in from of you and you can even enjoy them from the bed. With the outdoor seating and the little fire camp in front of you, you feel in your little word. Angus the host is very helpful and welcoming. a little Adventure with a big A but rewarding as the calm and the beauty of the location. a deer (over the fence) cames to share our breakfast time and seabirds are flying close. The beach is even adorn with an ancient pre-historic site and an old cemetery. So it was a precious moment in my travel and i will be back as soon as possible

I literally cannot rate this place highly enough...take as read that all your needs from this type of accommodation are catered for. However the attention to detail exceeds anything I have come across in the past. From a fire pit with wood to motion lights for when you get up in the night to an absolutely thorough and comprehensive binder with all the information you might need to a pint of fresh milk in the fridge to eco friendly cleaning products........ I have been very fortunate either through work or pleasure to have stayed in all types and grades of accommodation but many of them including luxury resorts could learn a thing or two from the level of detail here. Exceptional and I haven't even mentioned the stunning location, communication and ease of check in & out...yep you guessed it. Spot on.

I was only there for two nights.

Perfect accommodation, compact and clean. Really well thought out with everything you could need - I tried to think of any possible improvements or extras but couldn't think of anything - everything was already provided! Very quiet location but handy for local services with a large coop and garage just down the road (fuel cheaper than my local garage!), also restaurants and takeaways close by. Only problem was it was so cosy I slept in every day....!

Couldn't be better.
