Merivale stay in South Brisbane two beds two baths one parking

Location was an 8 minute walk to the Brisbane waterfront, with many restaurants available. We used to city ferry service to explore, and riverside tours by boat all started within easy walking distance of the property. Parking was in a secure underground car park with a space numbered for our rental. The property was equipped to a very high standard, with thoughtful touches like a box of chocolates left for our arrival, and shower gel and shampoo available. The owner was available by text to answer any queries, and instructions about collecting keys and parking were clear. There was a small swimming pool shared with the other flats, usually we were the only swimmers.

The air conditioning unit was efficient, but only sited in the living room. Bedrooms had fans, but got quite warm at night. The sofas were covered in 'wipe clean' plastic, practical but uncomfortable to sit on in shorts! The flat is in a block with residential tenants. This was not a problem for us, but renters need to be mindful of this and behave moderately to avoid potential problems.

Amazing host! Apartment was absolutely perfect, extremely clean and tidy, every little detail was thought of. It honestly felt like a home away from home. Perfect!

this apartment has everything you could possibly need. it’s well appointed, big enough for a family and only a short walk to Southbank.
